Fully deserves it's #3 in Pocatello rating. Service was quick. Food was hot and tasty. Almost went twice in my week in Pocatello.

This is a very family oriented restaurant. The staff is friendly and the service is very good. Their Enchilada Nachos are some of the best I have ever eaten. I enjoy Mexican food and this food is sort of like comfort food for me and my husband. We go to other restaurants but El Herradero is our go to place...

My wife and I recently visited El Herradero while meeting up with family. There were four of us total. The location isn't too terribly hard to get to but it is off the freeway a little bit. It is worth the drive though. It is in a little building. It is a sit down restaurant but it is very casual....

We met here for a brief business meeting, and I'd wished we'd gone somewhere else. Food was just ok - service was average, and the place wasn't all that busy. The size of their super burritos would satisfy the appetite of a 1200 pound Grizzly bear. This thing is like 20 inches long and like 3 inches around. It was amazing. LOL I ate 2.
The salsa, it is perfectly spicy, rich and delicious...just like in Mexico, but this is Idaho! The shredded meat is always good in the burritos, nice staff, good cold beer.
Overall I enjoyed the food and service here. The food portion was great for the price, including chips and salsa and beans. The service was good. Would return for Mexican food.
Went for a birthday dinner, prices wer cheap but food was pretty mediocre! Service was o.k. just not anything o brag about!
Very small portions and there were dead flies in the window-cill. Our server had a great personality but all she wanted to talk about is her husband being in Mexico and he can't get back into the country. She was polite but hard to understand. This is the last time I will ever go to El Herradero.
this is the best Mexican food I've had in ages! the sopitos are amazing, the service is friendly and very good! the salsas are spicy but not ridiculous definitely a repeat worthy place :-)
