Saturday evening

Very good evening - a 70th birthday party. The buffet was delicious, and the staff were great. The only negative was the bottled water and the red house wine - both a bit basic. Otherwise, a most enjoyable evening.

The food is always fabulous, the portions huge & the atmosphere amazing. Child friendly, & the location is lovely in any season! Never had a bad meal whether it's been as a large group, small family or with the parents. Never disappointed!! 😄 It's just a shame we can't get there more often!!

Having visited here quite a few times after walking with our dog, it is nice to know you will get a warm welcome, and the dog too! Very friendly pub, warm , open fire, lovely conservatory, always have had good pub grub, but today the roast dinner was under par, the veg was raw, lots of beef ( dog enjoyed... More

We absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, reasonably priced too. The place itself is lovely, and the staff were great. Will definitely recommend and will be returning soon. Fabulous!

Went for food here on a quiet Monday evening. Lancashire cheese and onion pie with proper mushy peas and chips were excellent as was the Pendle Pie. Good beer and friendly service. Can't fault it!

Had heard great things about the pendle inn so booked a large table for a family get together. Others in my party enjoyed the food. In fact I enjoyed my starter but it was all downhill from there. The mixed grill was rubbish. Didn't eat the half white half brown sausage, salty gammon, hard pork or tasteless chips. Plate was... More

A lovely pub that we probably visit twice a month when walking pendle with our dog, or as a larger group with several dogs. The beer is great, bar snacks and open fire make it cosy after them winter walks, or even visit the restaurant for a lovely sit down meal in the open conservatory. The staff are all very... More

I'm often wet and cold when I come in here but always get a real welcome, a good pint, and on the rare occasions I eat here it's always good. Go and climb Pendle then call in for your reward!

Fabulous traditional pub. Lovely range of well kept ales. Fine food at sensible prices. Front of the pub is traditional with open fires and flagged floors. Large conservatory built on for a more modern feel. Four small cottages available for rent too. Highly recommend a visit if your in the area.
