Chef Brian Inaba retired and closed the Copper Canyon. It has reopened as "THE VIEW". Much of the Copper Canyon menu has been retained and the food is delicious. We went there for our 33rd anniversary and we were very happy with our choice (our first time there). The salmon chowder was excellent and my wife enjoyed her salmon dinner... More

Went by today to make a dinner reservation for our upcoming anniversary. They were closed. When asked they said the owner shut it down and has not opened anything new.

On our 46th anniversary, we wanted to choose a special place. We couldn't picked a better place! The food was fabulous and the waitstaff VERY attentive. The views are looking out over green fairways creating a restful feeling. We have eaten many places around the world over our lifetime. There are only a very few that stand out. This was... More

There are not many nice upscale restaurants in Nampa. If you have a special occasion to celebrate come here. Food is great, service is good, prices a little on the high side for most people but if you want cheap go to McDonalds! A Two for One coupon brought us here and we came back again, but there are a... I couldn't recommend this restaurant higher. I have a lot of food allergies, and sometimes have a difficult time eating out. I had a wonderful experience at Copper Canyon. Normally I just ask for olive oil or no oil on my seafood to be safe, but the server and the chef went out of their way to accommodate my many... More

We miss the old place, more atmosphere, although you do have a very pretty view overlooking the golf course and a beautiful Idaho sunset. Food is very tasty and unique dishes.

The food here is always great. They are now at the Broadmore golf course so they are out of the way but worth it. Halibut is fabulous.

My husband and I go here on our Anniversary. Wonderful food, wonderful service. The ambiance is wonderful. I would rate it higher but the price makes it affordable for special occasions and not every day dining.

I have always been a fan of Chef Brian Inaba as he always creates full bodied delicious plates with layers of deep flavor. He recently moved his restaurant to the Broadmoor Gold Course in Nampa and while I do like that it is newer and cleaner than the old building in downtown Nampa, it is a bit sterile in personality.... We chose Copper Canyon strictly because of its location, right across the street from our motel. Golf course restaurants run the gamut of quality, but this one was a great find. Food was delicious and plentiful, and our server was exceptional.
