Great local sandwich shop

Love this place. It's a small dining room and gets very busy, but they bake all their own bread, use great ingredients, have great regular sandwiches and some good, unique twists on popular sandwiches. You can order a half (regular) size or a the full thing for a reasonable price. They also have... read more

We went there because of the reviews. I was not impressed. The sandwich was average, the bread was to thick, the meat to thin for the thick bread. I won't go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Stax. The friendly service and great food is what we were hoping to find in this little restaurant. We will definitely make this a routine stop when we come back to Moscow to visit family.

We have been here many times and finally had to write a review to help put this place on the map, because this place deserves the award of best sandwich shop on the Palouse. Great selection of sandwiches, salads and usually a couple diff. Choices for soup. Indoor and outdoor seating or call it in and get it to go... More

We were attending a Track and Field event at the University and wanted lunch to take with us. Searched the reviews for a good deli, and chose Stax. That was a good decision, as our lunch was wonderful. The sandwiches were on huge thick slices of delicious, fresh (homemade?) bread. The meat was piled high, and the lettuce and tomato... More

They make the best sandwiches in town and their soups are not too shabby either. The service is very good. They are usually very busy and might have a short wait - but it's worth it!

If there is a better sandwich shop in Moscow, Idaho then it is the best kept secret in the Palouse. I would recommend Stax to anyone if you enjoy sandwiches made from quality breads, cheeses and meats.

Went there one time and the sandwich was small and they have strange pricing systems. It was over priced and not that good.

Great sandwiches that are different then most other chain stores. Good price. They did have some outdoor seating as well.

Yummy, made-to-order sandwiches and tasty soups. I've only been there twice (so far) but will definitely be back. Whole sandwiches are HUGE and halves are more than filling.
