Epi's is one of those places that if you are feeling a little down, or lonely, you should probably go sit and have a meal here. The food is Basque, as the area around here was settled by the basque. Basque cuisine is kind of hard to describe, kind of a cross between Spanish, (as in Spain) and French cooking.... More

Small family run restaurant. Home style Basque food...great service. None better. Not corporate or fast, just a relaxing meal where the employees treat you like family. This place is my top pick of any restaurant i have enjoyed worldwide.

We have been there a couple of times and have really enjoyed not only the food but the friendly service and caring attitude of the staff. Kind of like having dinner at grandma's house!

It’s true that your longing for family, existential loneliness, and disappointment in humanity can not be cured in the span of a ninety minute meal at an out-of-the-way family restaurant serving the cuisine of a small European ethnic group. A large sign at an Idaho highway rest stop reads, IDAHO: LARGE BASQUE POPULATION, AND HERE’S WHY. Enter Epi’s, or more... More

My husband and I have been going to Epi's for at least 8 years. Excellent Basque food and menu selection. They make some of the best calamari, strips...not rings and so tender! Chris welcomes you in like a long lost family member....wonderful!

Love this charming little restaurant. I've eaten there twice and plan to return every time I'm in the area. You enter a small, renovated older house and are immediately greeted by someone from the family who is welcoming and efficient. There are delicious smells, lots of happy chatter, and every table is full. The lamb stew is the best I've... More

First time at this restaurant I had no idea what to expect. The quantity of food we had ordered was WAYYY larger than what we had expected or was able to eat in one sitting. Everything was served properly in regards to food temperature and quality. Never having had Basque cuisine before, this was a new experience for us, but... More

We always wanted to go here since everyone raved about the food. You can't just GO you have to make a reservation and it take about 2-3 months to get in. OK atmosphere nothing really special. The food was good buy very over priced for what we got. I had halibut fish and chips and a soda, my husband had... More

Epi's combines exceptional food, wonderful service, and friendliness second to none. The owner comes out and hugs you when you enter. She talks with you and gets to know you. You really do feel like a guest in her home. And did I mention that the food is amazing? Local, friendly, delicious, unique and fun. I love to go to... More
