In our eternal (and fruitless) quest to find good food in McCall while skiing there, my wife and I stopped by here. It was a SPENDY meal. I'm fine with that, if the food matches, but it didn't. They were out of prime rib, so maybe that would've made a difference. The shrimp and mushrooms to start were okay, but... More

We began the evening with drinks at the Beside the Mill bar. Really enjoyed it and the bartender was fabulous. The decor of this place is really cool. Lined with old boat motors, bikes, planes, pedal cars and a variety of other antiques. Truly unique. We then ventured over to the restaurant for what we hoped to be a great... More

My wife and I joined another couple here in September. We both ordered prime rib and it was very good. So, I was surprised by the ranking and the reviews. We can only review based on the prime rib, but we enjoyed our meals.

We ate there last night. Great atmosphere. Great service. Horrible food. For $31 per steak they better get it right! I ordered my steak Medium, it came to the table mooing. My wife's had to be sent back also. The speed with which it was returned to the table and the texture led me to believe the cook ( not... More

Had dinner at The Mill on Saturday, Aug.23, was very disappointed. The service was good, but the meal did not measure up. A "cream" of carrot soup was as thin as dishwater, with maybe three shreds of carrot. The "Mill Medallions" were ordered medium rare, came to the table with barely a trace of pink meat, and the sauce was... More

Had a great dinner here, a 20 oz. Porterhouse steak!! Cooked to perfection. We were able to share it and had several sides. Service was very good, The servers kept our water and coffee filled and handled our request to share the meal without any problem. The soup of the day was a tomato bisque and it was delicious. Yummy... More

This was such a great place back in the day. The servers dress in worn out clothes. They are in a hurry, didn't once refill our drinks or ask how our horrible food was. Can't say I loved the canned green beans or died out meat. When they cleared cleared our plates which were still full of food they didn't... More

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE IN YEARS! We arrived for dinner and was seated far in the back next to the cage of birds. The prices were unreasonably high. $30 for a piece of prime rib? There was four of us. My husband ordered the lamb cooked medium. I ordered the new York steak cooked medium. Our salad was wilted with brown... More
