Great Prime Rib, the rest was ...eh.

We got there shortly after they opened for dinner and they seemed a little surprised to have customers. We aren't bar people and you basically walk right into the lounge here, not being drinkers we were happy to be led to our table. We are Pepsi people, they don't serve Pepsi, we aren't really big... read more

The food was great. The bartender was very friendly and funny. The service was great and very attentive until dinner was over but once we were ready to pay the check, our server never came back. That seemed to be the theme that night at all of the tables around us. They could work on that aspect of service.

We paid way too much for a steak, but there were few choices on the menu that didn't include a huge steak and full meal. I had to ask four times for my water glass to be re-filled, and it was a Monday evening and not busy!

While good, the steak medallions were very over-priced. Shared a baked potato & had side salads that were nothing special. Mug of beer was also quite expensive. Wait staff: basic road-house Ambience: Dumpy, dark, rather dingy w/feeling of being trapped in a basement feeling

This restaurant is interesting. It's a bizarre combination of low class and high class. You sit down to a nice table with black table cloths and white cloth napkins. Then you waitress walks up wearing jean shorts and and old camouflage tshirt? Tables are squeezed in and too close. Hard to have a private conversation. Food is good (I had... More

Couple of the guys had rib steak which was quite pricey at $35 but they reported the steaks to be very good. We ate in the bar, but lots of people were filling up the restaurant side and also the attached sports bar. The barman John waited on us and had a great personality. I had a less expensive item... I've been going to the Mill for the past twenty years on various visits to McCall. We get there about once a year. It has always been our "splurge" every trip. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is as well. This last trip was good but it is under new ownership and has a few kinks to work out.... More

Ambiance: Mill is rustic. Been around a while inside and out, so expect accordingly. Furnishings are serviceable, little bit dark and tables can seem close together. They also stay open to reasonable hours, so if it's getting a bit late you can still get a good meal. Staff: Friendly and helpful, very good. Food: Very good. Salads and sides are... More

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was wonderful. I had the Prime Rib and my wife had the Halibut. Both were cooked to perfection. The experience we had here was highlight of our weekend!

This was recommended by a local -- she didn't steer us wrong! You walk into a nice bar complete w/a firepit! Staff is friendly! Excellent prime rib. If you want fancy & expensive, don't go here; but, if you like a nice place to relax in your blue jeans while enjoying great food & drinks at an affordable price, this... More
