Ambiance Excellent. Well appointed, seating is separated enough to have private conversations. And the breathtaking view of the Payette Lake and the mountains still amazes after many visits. Staff Pretty good. They do have a high server turnover, so you may have a junior server, but they are all pleasant and ready to help. The 'new' chef (about a year)... More

We have been visiting Idaho for 40 years. The beef tenderloin was the best beef we have eaten in a long time. We called it McCall Kobe, as it melts in your mouth!! The service was impeccable, the view over McCall Lake at sunset unbeatable - but the skills of our Chef were truely superior!

5 star view, 3 star food. Average 4 stars. After reviewing the burger menu for burger night Thursday we made a trip to the narrows grill. Unfortunately the lamb burger was not a option that night so the buffalo burger was ordered instead with fries of course. Also ordered a baby wedge salad. Beer and huckletini (huckleberry martini) were also... More

We have been visiting McCall for almost 40 years but had only stayed at Shore Lodge once before, for a wedding. We had walked the grounds many times and marveled at the view and the location. We live in Boise now and saw that Justin Winery was hosting a Winemaker's Dinner there. We figured that this was a great time... More

My wife and I were vacationing in McCall, Idaho and decided to attend a Justin Winery wine dinner at the Narrows Grill at the Shore Lodge. This turned out to be one of the best wine dinners we ever attended. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with complete professionalism! The entire staff, sommelier, chef and spokeswoman from the... More

The view is amazing, right on the lake and the wall is glass. We tried four or five appetizers, two entrees, and two desserts. All were absolutely delicious. Some dishes were very unusual and creative like a dessert that was rolled in a crepe with tapioca, strawberry, mango with a strawberry/ginger dipping sauce. The presentation was excellent and more importantly... More

Enjoyed the romantic mood with lights dimmed and candles lit. Our waiter was attentive but not annoying. I had the Grouper with lobster sauce $35? (ok), tamale (good), swiss chard (awesome). Added a side of sliced potatoes with onions $6 (amazing). My husband started with raw oysters $20 and loved them, especially the small ones. They were sweet and super... More

We were in McCall for the long MLK weekend. We went to Shore Lodge to check out the newly remodeled rooms. We are booked for a week in March. We had no intentions of staying for dinner, but so pleased that we did! Justice, the hostess was a pleasure and always had a smile on her face. She let us... More

My wife and I had dinner here with friends and have been here several times before. The view of Payette Lake is one of the best anywhere in the world. The food at the Narrows overall is very good, but pricey. The menu has a wide variety of choices from starters such as wild mushroom broth with lobster dumplings and... More
