I have been hooked on the turkey sandwich and soup since I was a little girl... Great homemade food...
While they gave us a lot of food on the humungous sandwich, it was flavorless for the most part. My sandwich had sauerkraut on it, which is supposed to be tangy. I saw it, but could barely taste it. They need to season their food so there's some flavor to it. Also, they're quite expensive. And, the atmosphere is boring.
This place offers good food in large quantities for great prices. They specialize in a variety of toasted sandwiches. You can go with some friends or call in an order to go.
A town legend. I recommend the Pork and Bull or prime rib sandwiches. it's a bit of a way-back machine experience, time has definitely stood still in the restaurant but once you taste the food you won't care.
The restaurant is located in a building with a bowling alley, so you might not expect much. But they have many items on the menu with generous portions. Good place for burgers and sandwiches. The service has always been very good.
I walked in thinking it would be another beer bar that also served mixed drinks and lunch (not that there is anything wrong with that). Turkey noodle soup is all homemade, from the noodles up! So yummy! Make sure you add this along with your turkey (or combo sandwich) next time! Don't forget your cranberry sauce too!
My favorite here used to be the Cock n Bull (Turkey and Roast Beef) but have grown to LOVE the Turkey sandwich! Great for sharing or making a few meals out of one! MUST visit if in Lewiston, ID.
