The restaurant is right behind the Red Lion, I had the Shredded Beef Chimichanga and Burritto Combo. The service was quick and friendly And they have a non smoking bar ( I thought all bars were non smoking now?) Apparently not in Idaho. The food was good and arrived quickly. The salsa wasn't the best I ever had but I am... More

We had great food with our family. The decor is bright and cheerful just like the staff. We enjoyed the enchiladas, tamales, fajitas, and a lot more. We will go back again. Prices are fair.

Beautiful new location. Chips and salsa are good. Shredded chicken is a bit tasteless in the soft tacos. I tried them on two separate occasions and they were a bit blah. Not outstanding, but not horrible either.

The carne asada was excellent. Margaritas maybe average. Waitress not so attentive. I will still come back.

A good restaurant to eat at, but since they got their new building some of their appeal for me. If you like a fancy Mexican restaurant that is clean and watered down flavor I think this is the place.

Great food with nightly food and drink specials. The traditional chips and salsa are complimentary along with pico de gallo. They do a great job celebrating birthdays too. The staff brings out a large sombrero and sings Happy Birthday, first in Spanish and then English and serves deep-fried ice cream!

This restaurant has a pleasant, colorful atmosphere and good service. There are lots of offerings on the menu at reasonable prices which are very tasty. The portions are generous, so it is a good value.

The server acted like she was completely uninteresting in being there. She tried walking away several times when we weren't finished ordering. We didn't get refills on our water/soda until when we were ready to leave. The worst part of the experience was the drink I ordered. I paid $8.50 for a piña colada and there was no alcohol in... The menu is extensive and colors bright and happy at El Sombrero. Kinda puts a person in a fiesta mood pronto! I really enjoyed their Taco Salad Bowl, but it was a little small for a dinner portion. They could amp up the portion size a bit to make sure customers are no longer hungry afterwards. The free chips &... More
