Don't be fooled. This is not great NY pizza. It is not even great Seattle pizza. But for a small town in Idaho, it is not bad. We went there with kids, and it felt a little too much like a creepy dive bar to be entirely comfortable as a kid place, but the staff was respectful and cheerful l... More

We got 3 pizzas and wings to go. The 3 pizzas averaged $17 each and were the equivalent of a Wal Mart pizza. The wings were tiny and blah. Pizza crust was like cardboard, but you don't go to Lava for the food.

I'm a bit of an east coast pizza snob but the pizza and calzone from Royal stand up to anything New York and New Jersey have to offer. Delicious!

arrived in town late and needed to grab a quick bite, this was the only place open...the pizza was disappointing and over priced. The house salad dressing was homemade and excellent ...

very good dinner and drinks, excellent service despite the fact they were quite busy. Had both the pizza and a calzone, both very good. Nice atmosphere, husband loved seeing the game on TV.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a chicken bacon ranch pizza. Both were super delicious! We especially loved squeezing the lemon on the chicken pizza. Our 6 yr old ordered the kids spaghetti and it was a generous portion and she loved it! Their root beer was amazing too.

16 beers on tap ! Decent prices, and if we hadn't already made plans for dinner elsewhere, we would probably have eaten there. The pizza looked amazing. And the staff, although very busy, was very attentive to us. Very friendly, and helpful.

Stopped here again on our way back from Oregon! This place does not disappoint. Pizza was amazing again and atmosphere and beer on tap was excellent. Daughter ordered Cesar salad and didn't know they made their own homemade dressing, it was way too much for her and the waitress allowed her to get a different salad, no worries at all.... More

I have been eating at the Royal for many years. My family has been camping in Lava over July 4th or Labor Day for over 20 years, and my husband and I have stayed in the off season a few times. The pizza is delicious- their pepperoni is some of the best I've ever had. Their garlic bread too is... More
