Java is always our first stop when we arrive in Sun Valley! Their trademark "Bowl of Soul" is the best bowl of coffee I've ever had! Java has great breakfasts including avocado on toast and poached eggs. I've never tried their pastries, but they all look delicious! It can get very crowded, but it is worth the wait in line.

We love sun valley and every time we come part of what we look forward to is a bowl of soul at jJava! Breakfast options are aplenty and all delicious. Go!

The Eggs & Toast are awesome, best toast & raspberry jelly. The confetti eggs are awesome with a tortilla on the side. The hippie in a bowl is out of this world OR order it "dirty" which mean with bacon. You can get the hippie with or without tortilla. Bagels & cream cheese are my kids most favorite item on... More

Java used to be fun...but the service is not good and the food is just so-so. I would rather go to another coffee house in Ketchum. I wIsh Todd would up his game and get the ice-cream stand going in the summer with actually good gelato and ice-cream. It is so mediocre.

I love the pottery bowl, called a Bowl of soul, delicious mocha coffee with a real dollop of whipped cream, not out of a can, doused with nutmeg ,cinnamon and chocolate

We just pick this one out on our way out of town and so glad we did! We had the hippie (breakfast burrito) and an everything bagel. They touched the dish off with fruit. It was delicious and we both said it was a shame we had not found this gem earlier in our visit. Service with a smile and... More

family is in town and all they want is a "bowl of soul" so we gave them what they want. they all had breakfast there, as well, and very happy with the steamed eggs!! even on the way to the airport, we stopped at the java in hailey and asked them to split a "bowl" 3 ways..and the did. thanks,... I really like their breakfast, made fresh. The coffee is weak, and no big flavor that might accompany lighter roast coffee. I can not think of any reinvestments back into this establishment for maybe 10 years. The cheap chic worked then, now just worn out and used. You might feel that way on a bad visit all attitude.

Java is a great choice for a light breakfast. Their steamed eggs on croissant are always a favorite. Can be crowded but worth the wait in line and once your order is placed, food service is quick. We also love to ride bikes down to Java in the summer months and eat breakfast on their outdoor deck.
