Huge Burritos

We were a group of 8 for dinner on a Friday evening, coming from West Yellowstone for some good Mexican food. With a very limited selection in West this time of year we decided to try this spot since we had heard it serves good food. We called ahead since we had a larger party, we were greeted... read more

As someone who was raised on REAL Mexican cuisine, the mockery of such food in this place is not appreciated. The decor of the restaurant is mountain log, with few decorations to at least make it home-ish......it was like eating in a cafeteria.....The margarita I ordered was simply awful, easily one of the worst I have ever had, and the... We were in Island Park for a week of snowmobiling, this restaurant is right off a great trail and easy to get to from all the trails as well as from Highway 20. It is only open Thursdays through Sunday in the winter, but we were fortunate enough to be able to eat there two different times. Friday nights they... More

Stopped in here between meals, unfortunately. We needed a rest from snowmobiling, to warm up and use the facilities. We had sodas and hot cocoas, and the server was kind enough to provide two baskets of terrific tortilla chips and fantastic salsa for our group while we warmed up in front of the fireplace. The hot cocoa with cinnamon was... More

We were there on a Thursday night with some local friends. We had the special which was a large and very good burrito. The two friends split a burrito since they knew how large it was. The special did not appear to be advertised. For two burritos and soft drinks, the total was only $15 USD. The normal menu was... More

We came on a Thursday night and loved this place so much we came back the next night! Thursday- great food, great service, great prices-- really good special burrito for less than $6! If we had been here just once, I would have rated it 5. Friday-- TOTALLY different experience. It was busy, but there was no one running it!... More

This is a good place to eat Mexican close to Yellowstone! The staff is friendly and there is a deck on the river to chill out with a margarita--frozen or on the rocks are both good. It makes for a great place to visit with friends and end the day. First, the guacamole is "chunky" if you like it that... More

We went on a Friday evening. It wasn't too crowded, but very understaffed. I only saw 3 people running the whole restaurant. There wasn't a hostess, and a nice bus boy was trying to do the work of many. We waited about 10 minutes before someone came to our table, which was fine, since it gave us time to look... More

On a rainy, rainy, rainy Labor Day weekend we ate here not once but twice. The first visit was a gorgeous evening and we sat out on the deck next to the river. The view is breathtaking. The margarita's were devine... but the guacamole...oh the guacamole!! Some of the best that I have ever eaten. We ordered chips and guac... More
