I read the reviews on Trip Advisor for this restaurant and decided to give it a try for dinner. We were very happy with the quality of the food. We all ordered the burgers and they were fabulous! I'm pretty sure that the meat patty was 1/2 a pound! Its was a 1/2 pound of deliciousness! Each one was cooked... More

My daughter, the husband's aunt, and I went here for lunch on a Monday. We sat inside under the mounted deer and moose heads; however, patio seating has a beautiful view of the river. My daughter ordered mac & cheese -they have large rigatoni in a creamy cheese sauce. No box mac n' cheese here! The husband's aunt ordered the... More

Once again we stopped here at sundown passing through Island Park. Great views while dining. We started with Funeral Bacon Potatoes, something I had never heard of. What a wonderful explosion of flavors. I moved on to their Cardiac burger. A hamburger that when cooked is about 3/4" thick, cooked to perfection deserves recognition. Plate presentations are always excellent. Service... More

Inside or Out (with the mosquitoes), there is such a peaceful feeling while dining. The food is very good and they serve the best bloody marie's on the mountain as far as we're concerned.

While trying (unsuccessfully due to a constant wind) to fool a large Rainbow Trout with a green Drake or Caddis fly, we ate twice at Trouthunter. The first time my wife had a kale salad with carmalized pecans that she said was yummy. My chicken sandwich was very good. The next time we ate she gave her salmon high marks,... More

My husband and I ate there three times in May 20014. Once it was porterhouse steaks, one it was their jalapeno chicken sandwich, and once it was their regular hamburgers.. everything was simply delicious, and the servers and cooks were so friendly.

We stopped here to share a late lunch/early dinner after skiing at Harriman with the scouts. Ordered a Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich with fries. Spicy chicken with wonderful bun, cooked just right,. Fries were delicious and were seasoned with some salt and pepper. It wasn't very busy and the waitress was terrific, getting us our food quickly and checking back on... More

A perfect place to stop after a long day snowmobiling or visiting Yellowstone Park. The menu is surprisingly upscale for the location, but prices are reasonable. The dining room has an incredible view of the sun setting over the river. It's obvious that the chef(s) really have a passion for food. The portions are good, but not huge, so this... More

I think the ribs might be a special -- I can't remember if they were on the menu. but, these were the best ribs ever. But, the price!! Wow! $30 for a plate of ribs. But, there were enough that they could have been split between two people, which would have been much more reasonable. Also, loved sitting outside next... More
