Enjoyable

We had good food and lots of fun. I would recommend this as a nice place to spend a special occasion. It is a little pricey, but nice for those special times.

Arrive early to avoid a long wait. We waited about an hour but it was definitely worth it! They have a great menu with steak, fish, chicken, and a kids menu. We had the Valentine's Day special which was a 4 course meal including dessert. Delicious food!

The warm rosemary bread was wonderful. The salad was fresh and the huckleberry dressing was great. The chicken friend chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. The gravy was tasty. We didn't have room for dessert, but the dessert menu looked wonderful. The service was efficient and friendly. We will certainly return soon.

We used to go to this restaurant regularly - now we won't. A few weeks ago we went for our usual dinner. Arrived and were seated within a few minutes. I asked if they still had prime rib - I was told - no they were already out - at 6pm!! After taking our drink order I asked if she... More

We loved the Lodgepole Grill at The Pines at Island Park! It was recommended to us by a local business owner in Island Park. The server recommended chicken strips. We thought we'd be getting good ole chicken strips, but these were fabulous. Very crunchy and just the right amount of spice. The fish and chips were also delicious. We were... More

Enjoyed a pleasant lunch at The Pines. Soup was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Stop in and enjoy after fishing the Henry's Fork.

The chicken and ribs are out of this world- terrific BBQ sauce. Salads are pretty basic, and if corn is the veg of the day, run the other way, it's awful. But overall we really liked the restaurant.

We went to dinner with friends on a Tuesday evening. We did not have a reservation and although we had 8 in our group, we were seated immediately. They have a nice menu and the good is great. Several of us had the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. However, read the menu carefully - they upcharge $2.50 for... More

This is our 3rd year to spend time in Island Park, Idaho and we are so glad that we found this great little place. We particularly enjoy the Fish and Chips for lunch. The restaurant is a nicely done log cabin with huge fireplace, full bar and is also the reception area for the luxury log cabin resort. Our waitress... More
