SnakeBite is a bar / restaurant that my brother in Idaho Falls recommended to us, knowing my husband likes something a little more than just your standard fare. We definitely enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here.

No sure what else to say. We had a lunch in the middle of a long drive (Big Sky to Salt Lake). Burgers mostly, very good. Notable: the clam chowder, clearly home-made, with love. And try the Italian soda. They take only cash, no credit cards.

I have been eating here for years and this is always a busy place especially with the local lunch crowd for good reason. Less crowded for diner but equally as good food and drink. Also, if you are looking for a nice spot to drab a drink after work/meeting or before a show at the Colonial Arts Theater, they have... More

I'm a local and it is my favorite lunch spot. The chicken avacado sandwich (the Hoback) is amazing. Add a Scotch Ale from the local Idaho Brewing Co. And it doesn't get any better.

Snake Bote is one of the better places to eat in Idaho Falls. The only thing I cannot recommend is the ravioli.

The food here has always been good (but getting more pricey lately). At lunchtime the place is always packed, and the servers sometimes harried and not as friendly or helpful as they could be. The tile and metal decor make an atmosphere so loud it is almost impossible to talk to your lunch partner. This is an extremely popular lunch... More

We are from out of state and have learned that great restaurants are favorites of the locals. This place is no exception. We have eaten here two times on two different visits and have absolutely loved the food both times! The chef does indeed know how to cook and how to present a delicious and appealing meal. No one in... More

We had a beautiful lunch here with very good service but the food was extra special. I had a salad that was chock full of different ingredients but the dressing was so unique and good that I had to buy it. The decor is nothing special but don't let that fool you, go for the food, you won't be sorry.

As a local I consistently dine at The Snakebite. Consistently great food, service and atmosphere. I love the fish taco's and their fries and fry sauce. The whole menu is wonderful though and have a nice wine and beer menu too! They don't take bank cards and am impressed they can get away with not taking cards in this day... More

Small little place but food is really yummy. Can't go wrong with a burger made with local beef. Local beers on tap and a great wine selection. Patio seating in the summer with a view of downtown. This place is cash only, but don't worry there is a ATM located inside in case you didn't know. Service can be a... More
