Myself and some coworkers stopped here while on business in Idaho Falls. The food was some of the best I've had. The rolls are wonderful and very addicting. I believe we had about 5 baskets. For my meal, I had a Kobe sirloin medium rare. It was cooked perfectly. A nice char on the outside with a warm red center.... More

Myself and 4 coworkers went to Jaker's because of its high rating on trip advisor. We were NOT disappointed. The only thing I wonder is why it isn't the #1 restaurant in idaho falls. I tried some of the trout, and it was FANTASTIC. 10/10. I had the kobe sirloin for dinner done medium rare. It was PERFECT. Charred on... More

Excellent service and meal. Got the trout.. Excellent. Could not have asked for a better prepared meal. Service was friendly, knowledgable, and on top of it. If I come back thru this area.. Would definitely come back.

We were looking forward to trying Jakers after seeing the billboards and reviews. The restaurant atmosphere was very nice. Our waitress was very patient as we checked out the whole menu. We ordered 2 sirloin steaks, one chicken fried steak, and one salmon on a cedar plank. The 2 Caesar salads were watery. We don't know if the lettuce wasn't... More

As we arrived in a busy restaurant the hostess was friendly and prompt. We were seated quickly. Our server took no time to get our drink order and was very knowledgeable about Jaker's bar menu and drink specials. We were undeceive about our drinks and food and she never made us feel rushed ... We requested a combo of food... More

Checked out this restaurant after reading reviews. It was good but nothing spectacular. My husband ordered filet and it arrived under cooked. They did correct it but didn't offer any comp for the mess up. I had the salad bar and it was good but not a huge selection. Our server was very good though.

We recently traveled through and stayed the night in Idaho Falls. This was our first visit to this delightful city. We looked at what were the dining options and Jaker’s seemed to offer a menu that would work for my wife and me, so we made reservations and off we went. The location was a little strange in that it... More

Now for Idaho Falls, this place is a gem. Great bar, large restaurant. Kind of a step back in time, but a good one. Can't beat the prime rib. I think you are good with just about everything on the menu. Fun spot for a town with little choices. Always good service. I remember Jake from the 70's in Boise,... More

Started with lobster bisque. Creamy and lots of lobster. The biscuits were hot and different than any I have ever had before. They were served with honey butter. Soooo good. Next I ordered salmon and halibut baked with a fantastic sauce. My husband ordered 12oz. Sirloin steak with garlic potatoes. The baked potatoe was light and fluffy and loaded. The... More
