To be honest, we went in not knowing really what to expect. Our server was nice, the food was really pretty good (although heavy with sauce and cheese and other good things) and the milkshake was freaking amazing! I would eat there again.

I liked the place. Suggested by a local person. What surprised me was the list on each table talking about the food brought regionally (including the butter). Two is us had the charbroiled rainbow trout with abit to much butter but otherwise very good. Local beer was good. No deserts this time.

Makers use to be a great place to eat. Even my favorite place to eat. But the last few years they have gone downhill. The food is average and the prices are high. If you want a good steak go to the Sandpiper.

My wife and I always enjoy Jakers. Whenever we travel, we try to stay away from chain restaurants, I recommend this restaurant to out-of-towners. We don't make reservations, but just go in and dine in the lounge. Friendly people, excellent food, good variety of draft beer along with cocktails. Not really a sports bar, but there are televisions and you... More

I love their lobster bisque and their salad bar is amazing. My only complaint is the dated feeling of the furniture and the very uncomfortable chairs. Their food is good and they do have a full bar, so definitely go. Just sit in the bar where it is more comfortable.

Great steak, excellent service, nice ambience. We had our grandson, who we love to death, but can be a handful. The waitress was great bringing coloring stuff and carrots. My son loved the baby ribs, my wife loved the trout, and I the sirloin. Reasonable price and worth visiting..

This place was absolutely amazing. Came to Idaho Falls from Los Angeles to do some sightseeing and visit some national parks. My partner and I were looking for some good places to eat in Idaho Falls. We took a chance on this place and had no regrets. We got the salmon, tri tip sandwich, and chicken nachos (as an appetizer).... More

The food was very good, with lots of options, but I thought that it was a little pricey. We made the mistake of going their with an infant and felt somewhat uncomfortable. Perhaps if there had been some background music.

I've not been to a Jakers that I didn't like. Always exceptional service and food. Whenever I'm at Idaho Falls during dinner time, I always look forward to Jakers.

This is one of the better restaurants in Idaho Falls. If you want a good steak this is the place. I haven't been impressed with the fish, although my wife always gets the shrim and it is delicious. they have a nice salad bar with a nice variety. The scones served before the meal are excellent almost like a dessert. We... More
