4 of us went too dinner at stockmans the service by the so called manager was terrible.and the steaks were not the best but we have had worse
We went out of our way to go to Stockmans in Idaho Falls. The price, service and food ordered was good.
Food was good had good portions felt that for the portions was worth the money. Waiter was very attentive kept our drinks full without having to ask
Polite staff, good portions, and local beers. Had a business buffet dinner there and couldn't really find anything bad to say about the place. We had salmon, chicken, and prime rib for meats. Mixed veggies and baked potatoes as well. Prime rib with horseradish was very good. There was about 60 in our group and they handled it very well.... More
Had steak and blue cheese salad. The blue cheese dressing was hot spicy. Ask why my dressing burned my mouth and was told chef added to much Tabasco. When my steak came it was ice cold in the middle. What I did eat was grossly salty. I commented to the server and who passed it off as that perhaps I... More
Had our company Christmas dinner here. Food was served warm, and timely with over 100 people. Seconds weren't an option, the staff wanted to get ready for another group, so our setup was taken down after everyone had main service. Beverages and bar were clean and good service.
I was staying at a hotel nearby and I was craving a delicious hamburger. With some research I decided to try Stockmans. As I stated in my title I should have tried their steak. The burger just wasn't anything special, I like that theyfresh grind their meat but the patty really lacked in flavor. My salad was good, fries were... More
This was our first restaurant on a long awaited trip west and it was a great choice. The food was great and more than I could eat. Our waiter was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our food.
Neat place inside, the chairs must weight 50 pounds each, and everything looks new, clean, and authentic. Burgers apparently are good, my prime rib sandwich was just ok. Was there with a business lunch, sat way in the back (entire room to ourselves), and service was just slow (drinks empty, etc).
typical pre prepared frozen chain type dishes.... gross fries covered in breading instead of fresh cut. coffee is ok. Place is empty most of the time... I would bet its gone in a couple years.... skip it.
