Good Food, Fair Price, Coming back for sure.

Four of us had a late lunch at Trudy's on a wintery Saturday afternoon. Restaurant has plenty of things to look while you wait for your food. Restaurant offers a good selection of hot and cold sandwiches, as well as hamburgers for lunch. I had the BLT with thick cuts of bacon and a large helping of... read more

We really enjoyed the one hour drive from Boise to Idaho City to have lunch at Trudy's. The menu was quite large and there were several things I could have had, but ordered the steak fingers, onion rings, and cole slaw. Everything was hot and delicious. For dessert our table ordered the huckleberry cheesecake and coconut cream pie. Both were... More

We got the lunch special and it was so much food. We didn't really have room but we just had to have some pie. It was great. Very friendly.

Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner topped off with Trudy's pie or baked goods is always a win. The staff is friendly and attentive.

I go to this place often in the summer on my motorcycle for lunch on a run through the mountains outside Boise. I just went up Sunday with a friend for breakfast and realized out of the two or three dozen times I've been there...none were for lunch. Well, foolish me! We both had different but wonderful breakfasts. Only criticism... More

Stopped for lunch on a busy Saturday, great burger, and super soup with fresh hot small loaf of bread. Fast service on a busy day.

Stopped off to Trudy's for breakfast, great omelettes and amazing service! Charming decor, lots of locals and plenty of good diner-like coffee to wake you up!

Took a nice long drive to see the trees and get away from the city. by lunch time I was in Idaho city, and a little bit hungry, saw all the cars around Trudy's and stopped for lunch. Looking around at what people were eating decided on the breakfast, and it was pretty good considering it is hard to mess... More

One of the best places to eat in Idaho City. The breakfasts are great, and their pies are to die for! Unfortunately they don't take reservations, and week-ends are extremely crowded.

Came up late in the evening and had a huge slice of pie. Breakfast was more than I could eat. Stayed in one of the cabins. Very clean, soft mattress, warm blankets. Coming back for sure.
