81st Birthday Party

A tiny little restaurant in Hayden. But big on great food. We took our friend here for her 81st birthday. We called ahead for reservations and to request they save us a few lamb shanks. They are normally served with pasta, but they had mashed potatoes available too and oh, so good. There's a... read more

My girlfriend and I decided to try it out. We have heard and read many great reviews about this place. We started out with a huckleberry Margarita and a glass of Maryhill Pinio. Both great choices. For apps we shared the bruschetta and soup. What a great start to the evening. For our entrees, she ordered the crusted halibut and... More

By the sound of the name you might guess this restaurant to be just your average casual eatery. Although it is not uncommon to see people coming in wearing shorts and tee shirts when the weather is warm the food would lead you to believe you are "dining in style." The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team.... More

We are locals who have been intrigued by this restaurant for some time. We finally visited last night. We did not have a reservation but got the table by the door. They had the smallest bread I ever saw in a basket and everything was so close to great it was sad to see it miss so resolutely. I wanted... More

Kynrede Cafe has homemade sauces and is truly a wonderful, quiet place to have a meal. The hours of operation are limited, but this off the beaten path restaurant is a delight!

I've driven by this place many times, thinking it was just another restaurant that "didn't make it" until my neighbors treated my husband and I to dinner out. This house turned restaurant is clean and cozy. Just perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The menu is limited, which I think is a good thing, and... More

This is a wonderful and quaint restaurant. It is family-owned and the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. In the wintertime, there is a fire burning inside the fireplace. They have a nice menu and there is something for everyone. If you are looking for a place to dine where there are not a lot of tourists, this is the place... More

You might drive past and never notice this place. It is tucked back in some trees, just a quaint little "house". It has a romantic feel with the tree covered patio available to eat or drink on surrounded by lights, or the intimate setting inside with just a few tables, a fireplace and hardwood floors. The chef and his wife... More

If you want a wonderful meal made with love Kynrede Cafe is the place to go. Family run and they take pride in their food. It is a house turned into a quaint and relaxing atmosphere. We have lived here 8 years and just tried it a few months ago and we sure wish we had stopped in much sooner... More
