This is the place "where they remember your name" We eat here several times a week and feel like it is home. There are lots or regulars but "visitors" are always present and welcome. The menu is basic; the food quality is absolutely tops. Soups are a specialty not to be passed by. I love cheeseburgers and have tasted none... More

I come from a very long line of "foodies" (food fanatics, chefs, and former restaurant owners) so everyone in my "clan" are always on the look-out for great places to eat. There are numerous par and sub-par breakfast joints in the CdA area - but I'm not going to spend my hard-earned money on sub-par food. That's the challenge: finding... More

This is really my go-to breakfast spot. Great food, good prices, great service. The food is consistently good. They bring you creamer in the large bottle instead of those stupid micro-mini cups most places have. There's usually a wait but it's worth it. If you want to impress with a nice restaurant for breakfast this might not be your spot... More

Nice family owned restaurant. Great food and friendly service. New in town on business and I would rather visit the local, family run restaurants than the chain restaurants so I gave this place a try. The food was great and the wait staff made me feel like I had been coming here for years. You get plenty of food for... More

This café has been in the same family for a few years now. Kim, the current owner took over the business from her father who is a well known chef in the area. The breakfast and lunches are fantastic and always plenty to eat. Home made pies and also buns for the hamburgers. You don't want to miss this one!

Don't get me wrong this is no gourmet restaurant, nothing fancy going on here. Nothing but home style eggs and bacon. We ate breakfast here this morning. The place is clean, service very fast , everyone polite. Ok for a quick bite to eat.

While on a NW explore, a native of Hayden recommended this place to us. Just slightly out of our way (blocks) along the highway (95N) toward Sandpoint is the second-best-ever breakfast-joint discovery in my lifetime. Great food, great hospitality and plenty of both. If you are anywhere near Hayden, ID and hungry, this IS the place to be. BTW, the... More
