We stopped in for breakfast while on a ride and the food was excellent! While the staff was happy and accommodating, they were slow. I had the bacon and eggs and the they were very well prepared. The pancakes were huge, and Shorty's favorite was very good! Average pricing on the menu items, probably because the servings are large! We... More

Not gourmet, but clean, good service and prices. Had breakfast, blueberry pancakes, no topping. Great bacon, thick and crisp. Nice music and cute decor.

We've been for breakfast a few times. The food is just okay, not bad, but not great, and it's priced a little bit high for not being great. Coffee is a big deal for me, and theirs is also just okay--a little bit on the weak side. The service was very good, and the owner seemed friendly. The atmosphere is... More

Downtown Main St., Hailey, serves breakfast all day. Decor is 50s juke joint. Good burgers and milk shakes, plus a full American menu. They say Bruce Willis put it in to have a place for late night chow when his night club closed. New owners but the ambiance is the same. Popular with locals.

Fun atmosphere and we love the breakfasts here. The banana or the cornmeal pancakes are pretty yummy. The only complaint I might make is that when we have been in with a large party, 6 or more, the service has seemed a tad slow. Not sure if we hit at a rare moment or not. Otherwise, one of our favorite... More

The best place around for breakfast or lunch when you are having a non-ski day. Love the 50s decor and the availability of half sandwiches when you are not so hungry or are feeding kids. We go there at least once a week.

we've only been here once but this seems like the kind of place that just has consistently authentic food. the chef made an exception and gave me a half sandwich on the tuna melt which they usually don't do. the price looks a tiny bit high at first but the food is so darn good you quickly know what you... Stopped in for breakfast on the way to the airport, large portions, good hot food. Tried the chorizo skillet. Friendly service. Will go again.

It wouldn't be a visit to Hailey without a breakfast at Shorty's, one of the best breakfast places I have been, the country sausage is excellent, service is great. Seems a lot of the locals eat there in the morning as well.

Shorty's was not available for dinner, but we did have lunch there. The food was what I would describe as traditional diner food, good quality, decent quantity (not too huge, but plenty to fill). They did run out of some things - like the bread for French Dip sandwich. Prices are reasonable - considering it's in the high-dollar tourist area.... More
