We went there for lunch! Service great, but the kitchen had nothing to offer for someone who does not like onions or garlic! My husband ask 3 times and the waiter helped us a lot! But the kitchen put still onions and garlic in my husbands food! I spend 70 dollar for lunch and my husband was still not happy!... More

We've had many brunch & lunches @ Bella Aquila. Food is always fresh/great, generous portions, the patio has nice waterfalls/landscaping & wonderful views of the river.

I ordered the soup of the day (mushroom) and the tiramisu. Both were good, not impressive and I probably won't order it again. But looking at the mains my colleagues ordered, the food here is really good. The portion is too big for me to handle on my own though. I tried 2 appetizers, potato crab cake and suppli and... More

A close friend of ours invited my wife and me to dinner here while on our recent visit to Boise. He feels it is the best Italian restaurant in the greater Boise area. Lovely setting and very nice atmosphere. The night we were there, is was not very busy, so we had attentive and fastidious service. The flat bread and... More

The scallops Christian were very delicious. Tender and in a wonderful sauce. Lovely patio, great service. Nice romantic atmosphere.

Three family members ate lunch at this fine restaurant recently and the food (all had salad) was wonderful. We ate on the patio enjoying a rare 70 degree week day in July and it was amazing. With the view of trees, a man-made fountain and the river a few yards away it is a truly relaxing space. We had other... More

Not expecting Boise to be a Meca for great italian Cuisine. The menu was extensive and the selections were outstanding. The owner came out to our table and actually sat down with us and we had a nice chat. If I lived in Boise I would come here at least once per month. Probably still couldn't eat the same thing... We went last night for a couples dinner and had I not been to a much better restaurant the night before maybe I would have accepted their failings better. There are much better places in Eagle, DaVinici's, The Stuffed Olive, and Gino's nearby. The bruschetta tasted like canned tomatoes with olive oil on it. The Hake special I had was... More

We showed up on a lark with no reservations and were warmly greeted and seated out on the lovely patio. All serves were genuine, nice, attentive and made good recommendations when asked. The champagne Cosmo was really good. The carpaccio was excellent! The mushroom risotto was very good, the pasta medetteraneo was excellent! The veal piccata was tough. Gluten free... More

I enjoyed a business dinner, drove out from Boise. A very pleasant setting, with outdoor seating (was 100 degrees so we passed!). The high desert margarita was quite good, served pink in a martini glass. The antipasti appetizer was on the skimpy side, wouldn't get that again. I had the spinach fettuccine which was very tasty indeed, with a mozzarella/tomato... More
