Routine, but not much else in the area

A welcomed respite on our scenic byway meanderings. Nothing on the menu or the walls supported the Amish flavor of its name. Food routine. Old fashioned salad bar. Decor unappetizing. However, a very busy place with the locals on Sunday after church. When you are in town, go check out the Bark Park... read more

What made this restaurant memorable was the staff. Bobby our service was exceptionally friendly and good with kids. Deep fried steak bites, seems to be their speciality and it appears this is a popular Idaho menu item. The homemade bread brought out as we sat down was warm and wonderful.

We found this place while searching a GPS guide. The service was friendly and the food was excellent and well priced. If you're traveling on US 95 in Idaho, it's worth a stop.

The prices were reasonable and the food was good. We had the patty melt with curly fries and a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. It was a pleasant surprise to have fry sauce supplied as a condiment. That really added a nice touch to a trip to Idaho. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. It's just a short walk from... More

Very friendly staff and good HOMEMADE food at affordable prices. Our waitress was awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

We ate here last year but I don't think I did a review on that. This year we just stopped in to get some pie because we remembered it being really good! They have a large selection of pies as well as soft serve ice cream in two flavors. The kids were pretty happy!

They were short staffed as the servers had returned to college. Its basically a family run restaurant, who go out of their way to serve the patrons average food. It was ok...it was late at night and our options were limited. They did make sure we got our beers, they had to go buy them down the street, but we... More

The food was nothing special. Neither of us felt well after eating there. I think it may be under new ownership. The roadside sign was down and the menu said Rodonna's not Country Haus. Most of the food was fried and frozen. The town is small with not many options so I would advise going to Grangeville to eat.

Nice little place for dinner. Hubby & I both had the 6oz. serloin steak which looked as if it was double that size. Both had the salad & potato. Then the rhubarb pie for desert. The staff was pleasant & funny even for being on the later side of the evening. Nice dinner!

I recommend one of the small loafs of fresh baked sourdough bread. Even the merlot was good.
