This place is small, parking situation could be bad if busy, the wait could be long if you have a big group, but the food was delicious. The dessert menu was odd because I loved it but my wife did not. So no dessert for us. The teryaki bento beef is huge amount of food and comes with pork. The... read more

My wife, who is Vegan, and I were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary on June 19th and we found the Syringa on a Google search for Vegan restaurants. It is a unique and casual venue. Although the restaurant is mostly not Vegan, they had several dishes that were. Our waiter, Scott, was very helpful guiding us through their menu for... More

This is a tiny yet popular place so reservations are recommended. I had a sushi sampler which is created at the chef's discretion and you also have the option of substituting rolls from the menu. Everything was outstanding and the service was great too.

We tried to get reservations but due to the small number of tables were unable to do so. We took a chance and got a table for 4 anyway. We ordered a speciality roll each and a sashimi platter as well as draft Sapporo. All the rolls were excellent as was the interesting variety on the platter which included moonfish... More

We had a large party on a busy Saturday, and they were very creative and helpful in accommodating us. The decor and vibe is kind of funky in a fun way. Food is very good - both Sushi and hot items. We especially enjoyed the seafood salad. TONS of delicious raw fish and seafood in a light but spicy dressing... More

had no idea there was a place to find Japanese food in CdA, and the name of this small restaurant certainly isn't a clue (it's the State flower of Idaho.) But the food is very good, price is reasonable. Have been there 3 times now, and always pretty crowded. Seems to have dedicated and loyal patrons. Have not yet tried... More

I love Syringa, I always recommend that friends and family try it- especially for sushi but their other dishes are amazing as well. It's a fun, small restaurant which keeps their service and food up to par. Love!!

I've been in Coeur d'Alane for work a couple pf times and found this place through tripadvisor. The first time I went I was looking for a good place to have sushi and I found it! I just sat at the sushi bar and asked the cheff to make his signature roll and it was fantastic! It is now a... More

Syringa is a reliable choice for fantastic sushi. My biggest challenge is that once I go there, I crave their food every minute for weeks. The dragon roll is the best item on the menu, but everything is reliably good. Sometimes take out is better than eat in, because they don't have the best ventilation in the place and the... More

We have been going tonSyringa for several years now. The chef will make a unique meal for you off the menu if you request it. If you go there I highly recommend ordering sushi as this is their specialty. Friendly service, always lively and always delicious sushi. Love this place.
