We were recently in there and they had the will smith channel going for music, are you serious, only place in CDA playing "you down with OPP, Yea you know me" What a great night. First time having sushi here. and it was outta this world. Peter Parker, Incredible Hulk and the crunch roll. My mouth waters when I think... More

I truly love sushi. It's my desert-island food, the only thing I would eat for the rest of my life if need be. Syringa does it better than most anyone else around. It has super fresh fish, creative and hip design, and fun staff. Order their specials, ask what's new and fresh, ask whats interesting. I tried a few things... More

Excellent Sushi! Every time I am in town I stop in and eat a couple of rolls. Food always seems a little better when the Chef (owner) is around. Never had a bad meal.

One of my go-to places as a CDA local, the food here is amazing, some of the best asian cuisine around. They also have fine wines and sake. I love the small room atmosphere, but be sure to make a reservation, you may get lucky, but because of the low seat count i've found myself getting back in the car.... More

Stayed in CDA for a day and decided to have dinner at Syringa after reading all the positive reviews. We ordered the a few rolls, chirashi, udon, and salad. The udon was quite tasty. The fish quality was mediocre though. The server seemed a bit aloof.

The thirty-minute wait for seating was worth our time. This unassuming restaurant looks like a restored Long John Silvers or similar, but wow, the sushi was excellent. This pricing was comparable with what I would have expected to pay in a large city, but the quality delivered against the value.

This is a spot you don't want to miss. In an unassuming small building is this great spot for sushi and Asian cuisine. Great food, great selection and great service.

Who would believe it, maybe the best sushi ever found in Coeur d' Alene!!! Definitely a locals restaurant, recommended by our golf caddy Brandon Haas, the sushi dishes rival anything that I've eaten in California, let alone Oregon where we live. You can bet that anything on the menu will delight you. All fish is fresh daily and the chefs... More
