Food was great, even ate off my son's kid menu plate. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Had the potato soup based on our super friendly waitress' "Jackie" recommendation. Decor a bit outdated, but I'm going for food not decorating ideas. A good value for the price also.

Saw remnants of ketchup on the walls and generally dirty everywhere. Super old green decor. Skip the mixed drinks as I sent my back due to no flavor. The food was adequate at best. Seems to be popular with locals who don't know any better or don't care where they eat.

This place seems to be a popular stop with the local students. My wife ordered their beef barley soup and her comment was: too salty and no flavor (bland). I ordered their calamari and it was just ok. It had too much batter and not much flavor... but better than the soup. I also had their Italian watermelon soda ...... More

I ate here twice while in Coeur d'Alene. Both times were in the afternoon so it wasn't crowded. The service was excellent. I had the fish tacos the first time. They were good but I have had better. Portions were generous. Second trip, we ate on the back deck with a view of the lake. It was a nice pleasant... More

When we went into the restaurant we were seated immediately but it took about 20 minutes for us to even get a waitress, the drinks took a while and after waiting we should have just got up and left, my daughter ordered mozzarella sticks and it took like 20 minutes just for her to get them. Then it took over... More

So I've gone to this bar everytime I have visited the area, and since in the past I have had good experiences I will most likely go back but if I see the guy behind the bar that gave us such horrible services I will leave! We went in just for drinks, it was my sister inlaws birthday so she... More

Great place to eat in Coeur d'Alene with plenty of options on the menu. The portions are huge - think about sharing or you'll be having leftovers for lunch the next day (which isn't a bad thing, right?) We sat at the bar and had excellent service. The bartender was "johnny on the spot" with taking our order, serving, refills,... More

Iron horse wasn't serving food so we stopped in for an appetizer and beer. My favorite beer in the whole world was on tap so this place is now my favorite place in cda. Haha (Dagger Falls from Sockeye Brewery in Boise, I'm from boise :) would like to have tried some sea food, maybe next time. Cozy, relaxed atmosphere.... More

They serve a variety of oysters and great sandwiches. My oysters Rockefeller were a little dry, but everything else was very good. The waitress was charming and efficient. I would visit again.
