My wife and I recently had supper at Tomato Street in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. The food was as good as I remembered from eating there a few years ago. Service was very good too. We were fairly early & the restaurant kept getting busier.

When we visited Coeur d'Alene in 2011, we ate here, and again recently, in 2014, we decided to eat here again. Service was fast, food was excellent, and the weather nice enough to enjoy the outdoor seating.

When we're down in this area we usually hit up the Tomato Street in Spokane but were pleased to find this one in Coeur D' Alene as it save us a trip into Spokane this time. Menu is the same and offers many choices. My usual is Uncle Tony's Chicken Pasta. This time it was a little dry and they... More

I ordered what I thought, from the price, would be an ordinary medium sized calzone for dinner, but when it came, I knew I had to save half of it for the next night. It was delicious both times.

We enjoyed several pasta dishes here - one with steak and mizithra cheese; one with shrimp, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes and one with olive oil and garlic. We also ordered salads and had garlic bread that was included. The food was good - the service was great and we would go back if in the area. They also are... More

What a great surprise! The tomato basil soup was in the top two I have ever had. The spaghetti and meatballs were great. The meatballs are flavored with Italian sausage do you know they are homemade. Twice baked spaghetti was also very good. Service is fast and friendly. The deserts are quite nice as well. Even the bread was better... More

it was the semi-finals of the World Cup. The US was playing and I was driving back from a vacation in Yellowstone. The game was suppose to start at 12...and I started looking for a restaurant bar. It was 12:30 by the time I found Tomato Street. I rushed in to the bar, ordered a drink and lunch, only to... More

After a long drive my wife and I stopped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by this great restaurant. We decided to have Italian this night and since this was the first time passing through Coeur D'Alene we stopped by Tomato Street. My wife had Lasagna and I had a Calzone. Both were excellent and the portions were huge... More

We read the reviews, and they were right. This restaurant is much nicer inside than the plain exterior hints at. Our server was on the ball, and everything was delicious. Portions were generous, and the house wine was very good. Would definitely return if we are in the area again.

We enjoyed our early evening dinner here. First time back in a number of years. Service was excellent, as was the food, BUT the servings are very large - could easily feed to people per each plate. While the blackened fettucini was good, the calzone was excellent and HUGE !! Lots of parking and worth a stop for sure.,
