The interior of Satay is a pleasant surprise........a small restaurant on a busy street that you might pass without much notice. Not only is the interior beautifully decorated but the food is superb! We have eaten there several times and the food is consistently A+...

I can say that out of several choices, we were so pleased. If I ever have the chance to return, we will certainly make it a priority. I have never been so pleased with a balanced menu, staff and presentation. The quality and care that the executive chef has laid out is of such a quality and shows such a... More

When my 3 coworkers, all of us from out of town, had such an excellent meal at Satay Bistro on Thursday night, it was a unanimous choice to return there on Friday. The seafood was excellent, all of us enjoying the amazing halibut & polenta special (both nights for me!). Our native Italian from New York said his pasta was... More

This is a relatively small restaurant and it is highly advisable that you have a reservation. The staff members at this bistro were all friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food on the menu was incredibly delicious. We started out with drinks and Baked Brie. Then we shared a Strawberry Walnut Salad. With that came their complimentary garlic bread mini loaf.... We had the prix fix menu for restaurant week and it was excellent. Pear and gorgonzola salad with black truffle vinaigrette, sea bass with smoked tomato sauce, Swiss chard and potatoes. My friend had a beet salad, filet mignon - the meat was superbly cut for texture and flavor, potatoes lyonaise (light and airy). Dessert was panna cottage and I... More

My girlfriend and I went out for a Date Night. We decided to come here tonight since we have not eaten here before. The place was full which is a good sign. It was restaurant week also. Met Rob the owner, was very nice to us. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. We started off with... More

My wife, me and another couple met for dinner at Satay Bistro on Valentine's Day and we each had a different entree. My wife, who loves lamb but has had restaurant lamb dinners from great to bad, stated she loved the Rack of Lamb and said it was second only to the roasted lamb a good friend's mom had made... More

We booked the bar area of Satay Bistro for the private 30th birthday of my daughter who was here with her husband visiting from London. We booked the venue for a few days after Christmas and although the weather was atrocious, had almost all thirty guests keep the date. Brittany and Alex, the bartender, were excellent in service and the... More

This is the place for a foodie or an awesome dinner with that special person. I had the seafood Abruzzi. I am really particular about preparation of scallops and was very pleased with the chef's skill. I recommend the seafood and try the Gruyere cheese fondue to start. Coeur d'Alene has some fine restaurants, IMHO often superior to Spokane and... More
