We take comfort food seriously, Extremely seriously, but with some twists. Combining our passion for Extraordinary flavor profiles with our love for the Extreme, MELTZ is the culmination of years of culinary experience. Fusing layers of flavor, our sandwiches go beyond your expectations and what you may imagine. These sandwiches are deliberate in every way to bring you an Extreme combination of textures, flavors, spices and heat. Oh, we still make simple, familiar grilled cheese sandwiches. But if you're looking to Kick Up Your Comfort, we've got something on the menu for you!

Sandwiches are large and rich so split it if you can!

We've been there a couple of times now. Truly comfort food is all I can say. Of course we had to try to the standard grilled cheese with tomato soup. I've tried both of the tomato soups and I have to say that personally I like the vegan soup far better (never thought those words would come out... read more

Everyone we have taken there has enjoyed their sandwiches -- gets expensive if everyone orders a whole sandwich -- 1/2 sandwich is very filling, however. Very small eating area -- we have been lucky and always got a table. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The potsticker is my favorite sandwich but ALL their sandwiches are great. My daughter is gluten free so we eat here every time she comes to town. Love the chips and dips. Also, their soups are to die for.

On a trip with a friend we happened to hear about this place at a gas station. I had the oinker a great pulled pork sandwich & the large size filled me up most of the day. My friend had the border patrol and said it was amazing. Would definitely return if I'm ever around this area

My business partner saw a review for Meltz, touting it as the best. They WERE SO right! This is a must if you love fresh grilled sandwiches. They serve an awesome Ruben with homemade sauerkraut. They have gluten free bread, a must for me and some of my associates. They are always busy, but we'll worth the wait!

Finding Meltz was a stroke of luck (thank you, Google!) in the middle of a long drive across the western US. My family will tell you I have an unhealthy passion for grilled cheese (and hot sandwiches in general), but I'm a little hard to please. I don't want a soggy panini, and I don't want anything burned to a... More

We were a group of 7 and spent almost $100 for sandwiches and an order of chips and drinks. They were good. If you don't eat a ton save some money and just get half a sandwich, they were big. Staff was friendly.

Yum! We had the south of the border with jalapeño bacon and also traditional grilled cheese and the oozy good. Half sandwich is satisfying, big portions. And the homemade chips are delish too! The location was surprising, but don't let that turn you away. The food was great and the staff very friendly and food came out quickly.

We had the half sandwich combo. I had the Mexi Meatloaf with tomato basil bisque soup. Tom had the Cubano with macaroni and cheese soup. Very good and enjoyable. Glad we tried it before we left.
