Although some of the dishes were a little different than the standard Mexican fare. The ones that we ordered we delicious, but not hot enough for me. I like very hot. But they were very flavorful and the Margaritas were huge!

The food was reasonably good, but we won't return despite the fact we found a new favorite hotel right across the street (Hampton). The service was incredibly slow--40 minutes to get entrees on a Friday evening when the place was less than 1/2 full. While the menu was extensive and the portion sizes large, these did not make up for... More

Azteca has an extensive menu with quite a few great selections and options within each selection; chicken, beef, shrimp. I recommend sitting at the bar. Enjoy sports on on of the big screen TVs and enjoy one of the mainstream or better yet local brews on tap.

Every time I go to the Azteca I ordered this flavorful different delicious dish called Camarones Monterey and it never disappoints me. It's six grilled prawns with bacon wrapped around them over Paella rice, grilled fresh sweet pineapple served with a delicious sweet and spicy mango-pineapple marmalade. I always ask for extra sauce its that good! We had a dynamite... More

I had the Adovo Shrimp & Rice Sauté A spicy, rich red pepper cream sauce tossed with sautéed shrimp and mushrooms laid over a bed of rice and melted mixed cheeses. Garnished with pico de gallo and Cotija cheese. This was so amazing. One of the best dishes I've ever eaten anywhere. Words can't express how yummy this was. The... More

Once again this Azteca decided to close an hour early. According to their website and sign they were open until 10. The staff began turning people away at 9 telling them they just were not busy enough to stay open. The area this restaurant is in is very populated and the movie theater was letting out. Quite a few people... More

I have to say, as a Californian, I have a certain standard for Mexican food and this misses the mark. I should have known better in northern Idaho, but I am the eternal optimist. We went on "Taco Tuesday" where the "Deal" was you had to buy a $5.00 drink plus pay $5.00 for a 2-taco plate with rice and... More

This was our favorite Mexican restaurant---but no more. Service (late Sabbath lunches) is terribly slow since the only waiter has to double as the bartender, a job he likes better than tending hungry people? The food, when finally served, was cold. One time is excusable but not three times. Too many other places to eat to go back here again.

I have been here several times and the food is always very good. A clean place with good food, good service, and reasonable prices is always nice to find. Servings are generous too.
