We waited quite a while for breakfast due to great reviews. Not sure it was worth the wait, but the food was good and the woman who waited on us was a real pro! Atmosphere? Negligible! Very popular which may make the reality disappoint.

Had an amazing breakfast there. Found it by chance on Urban Spoon. It didn't look like much from the outside but the food and service were amazing! I guess there is normally a long wait, that is how good it is. I had one of the specials that day, huckleberry pancakes, that were amazing. My boyfriend had steak and eggs... More

Recommended to me by a local and it didn't disappoint. Typical diner atmosphere and menu with a good dose of funkiness. Great staff, very good food, decent prices. Leave a nice tip for your waitress in the spam can.

Went for breakfast on last day, should have tried dinner too. Felt like I was in a small town in Idaho (which is a good thing when visiting a small town in Idaho). Great food, great service, great prices. What more can you ask for.

Our friends told us about Garnet several times, but it took us a few years of visiting Coeur d'Alene to check it out...too bad we didn't listen to them earlier! If you want a big, beautiful, delicious, reasonably priced breakfast -- this is the place. We ordered a variety of omelets between the 4 of us and one huckleberry pancake... More

I've visited CdA a few times and am always freaked by how pricey everything is... And not that great. This is actually THE BEST of the brunch places I've eaten at, but still, just "o.k." Sure wish CdA could attract some good chefs... It's such a paradise...'would love to have some ambrosia to match it. Ok, so I had the... More

We stopped by here based on the internet reviews and weren't disappointed. We arrived about 7 AM when they opened and were immediately seated. The waitress staff was very friendly. We ordered corned beef hash, steak, eggs, and northwest potatoes. The sourdough bread was very good and came with homemade lemon curd (incredible) and raspberry? jam. Everything tasted extremely fresh,... More

Small, intimate café in Coeur d'Alene. I'm a traditionalist for breakfast (2 eggs over easy, hashbrowns, bacon and white toast), however I was talked into trying the Rosemary bread for toast! FABULOUS! We sat at in a little courtyard in the early morning. This is a don't miss for breakfast! You won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is always rated high on tripadvisor, so I decided to take my family. No hostess to greet us. We wanted to sit outside, and needed to push 2 tables together. We were told no. Sat inside, which was ok. Coffee cups and silverware needed to be exchanged due to not being cleaned of the food of the previous... More

The place looks very homely when you first arrive. I think there is was only one person working, so we had to track her down to be seated. The service was average because she was so busy trying to seat us, take our orders, etc. This is one of the top rated breakfast places but other than the food I... More
