A surprising gem with amazing food

Jimmy is worth the trek down Sherman if you are visiting CDA. It is more of a locals place. Fantastic brunch with attention to detail. More than a simple diner, they make extra effort with every meal that makes it memorable. However, the prices do match the quality, I did find it more expensive... read more

We were lucky and got here Sunday before the crowds hit. This has been awarded Idaho's best diner by Food Network and for good reason. The food is great. The Denver omlet is the best I ever tasted.

I love to try new places and this one is fantastic! I have tried a few places in the area while in Spokane and I have yet to be disappointed as Jimmy ' s really delivers. The Chicken Fried Steak is unbelievable! !!!

3 of us were on a motorcycle road trip from Canada. We stayed 2 nights in Coeur d'Alene in late August. The first day we had breakfast at "Jimmies ". It was so good, we went again the 2nd morning. Go there hungry. Awesome selection, quantity, taste & value for your money. Even with the exchange cad vs usd. Hey,... More

Guys from the VFW Post 889 meet here two times a week. Mike and Gretchen offer free coffee to the vets, and save them a table. I think the food is average. Oatmeal and grits are a crap-shoot. But the kind, friendly service makes up for it.

This restaurant was highly recommended by the hotel manager where we were staying. It was great. We walked in and were immediately seated, and greeted by the manager. The food was fresh and delicious, and there was plenty of it. My husband and I both commented that if every restaurant could run like this one, it would be highly successful.... More

Clean, friendly environment. Service is wonderful and the food is high quality. This is a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives place. Try the waffle. It's big, light, and fluffy. Nice thick cut bacon.

We had to give a DDD place a try this morning and were not disappointed. Started with homemade cinnamon roll. If I hadn't been sharing I would of had pecan. Yum. Corn beef hash was delicious. I am always looking for homemade. Canned is awful. My husband had chicken fried steak and eggs. Portion was larger than he could eat.... More

I found Jimmy's via a Google search for local breakfast restaurants. When I travel I don't eat at chains, I like to try local places! Jimmy's doesn't disappoint if you are looking for a cozy little greasy spoon. They were featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-In's and Dives, a fact that they are very proud of. The place was busy,... More
