This restaurant was recommended to us by my wife's parents. They set some high expectations- and Jimmy exceeded EVERY one of them! My "D.T.'s" scramble (actually DTS, I am vision impaired, which can have its lighter side;) was excellent! It filled the whole plate and tasted great at every bite! Since they did not have Country White Gravy w/o sausage,... More

I have to rate it average as we didn't get to eat there. We arrived just 15 minutes before closing time. The restaurant was empty except for the staff that was waiting to close. One of the waitresses was sitting at a front table counting her tips. The look on her face when we pulled up in front was enough... More

Orders the country Benedict and it was awesome. Way too much food for one serving! Definitely recommend for breakfast, lunch looks good too, just haven't tried it yet.

Came here for breakfast after it was suggested by a friend from school. Met her in the morning with my other two friends. We all enjoyed or breakfast and had a good time. The portions were very nice and prices pretty good.Next time I have to try the cinnamon roll it looked great.

I've been there about 5 times, and each time I ask the server to bring me a coffee cup fresh from the dishwater rack. Why? Because they use the same bar towels over and over to wipe down the plastic tablecloths, then they set the tables. Fine. Except that they place the coffee cups mouth-side down on the still-wet plastic... More

We wanted to visit this because of Diners, Drive ins and Dives. And it was OK, but nothing really special. The portions were very generous and the prices weren't bad, but the food wasn't all that wonderful, the veggies were watery, and the reuben was served on bread that was cut way too thick and the corned beef was really... Our return car trip from Montana to Seattle found us in Coeur d' Alene at breakfast time and we looked high and low for THE spot to have breakfast. After scouring the reviews on TA, and several misses we settled on Jimmy's Down The Street. The decor is fun and being served by the owners was a treat. The food,... More

Family friendly. Attentive staff. Close and homey. Adequate servings. Fresh! Hot! The potatoes were perfect. The pecan rolls are about 3 inches high and 6X6. Enough to share, if you must.

This place is crazy popular, probably because they have good food, great staff and apparently, have been on Diners, Dives and Drive Thrus. We didn't get seated until well past our expected time but it was worth the wait and they were so nice about letting us know what was going on. The deep fried cinnamon roll was really delish... More

Every time we went through Coeur D'Alene we would say "We have to go and eat where Guy Fieri ate with Diners Drive-ins and Dives because he liked it so well. Not sure why he was so hot on it. Since they taped the show, the restaurant has changed hands. They supposedly kept all the original recipes. We tried one... More
