Late Lunch.

We were looking for some local flavor and happened upon this place. Awesome smoked fish for take out. I got cod fish and chips which was delish. My wife got the shrimp tacos also delicious. Not much shrimp in the tacos but all very fresh and made to order.

We live very close to Fishermans Market. When we don't feel like driving across town, we eat sushi here. The entire "restaurant", sushi bar, kitchen and fish market are all in one huge room. The floor is cement. There is no ambiance. Art is questionable. There are a few tables outside. However, the fish is good. Sushi is fresh. Cold... More

We stopped her on a trip purely on a lark. What a great find. The oysters were terrific, halibut perfect and the simple wine choices were a perfect compliment to the food.

My wife had been here before with her mother and thought we should try it. Glad that I did but have to go back as there was too much offered to be tasted in one night. You stand in line (yes, it is that well liked) and order your food, then sit and wait for it to be served. Lots... More

They do a good job here, and the sushi is well above average. A bit pricey on their other items but high quality stuff here.

Liked: reasonable cost, fresh freshwater fish and seafood, quick. One side of large dining area has fish market, next to restaurant. Large selection of fish to choose from for dine-in, or take home for later cooking. No waiters, get your own food at the counter. Did not like: nothing, it's all good.

We had the cod and fries and also a California roll. They were both very good. The cod seemed very fresh and very juicy. The California Roll was very tasty. We are not much of sushi people, but we both enjoyed it. Took a long time to get the food but it was lent and it was a Friday.

Ate the for dinner and lunch last week. Overall, the food was very good and the homemade fries were awesome. Only downside is the price, it's a bit on the expensive side....but I wouldn't imagine their food cost is on the high side being all fresh and not frozen. Definitely would go back, fish tacos are awesome!

Have been here a number of times. I think the sushi menu is great and consistent taste and freshness. I have never been disappointed. The regular menu and specials are also very good so I have a hard time deciding between the sushi menu and the fish tacos, or fish sandwiches. I have never been disappointed here. The setting is... You go up to the counter and place your order from a number of menu boards listing daily fare as well as specials, then choose a table scattered about the large open, unadorned area and wait for your name to be called. The food was ready in a short time and you then take it to your table and feast.... More
