IT was excellent

We had the cod and fries and also a California roll. They were both very good. The cod seemed very fresh and very juicy. The California Roll was very tasty. We are not much of sushi people, but we both enjoyed it. Took a long time to get the food but it was lent and it was a Friday.

Liked: reasonable cost, fresh freshwater fish and seafood, quick. One side of large dining area has fish market, next to restaurant. Large selection of fish to choose from for dine-in, or take home for later cooking. No waiters, get your own food at the counter. Did not like: nothing, it's all good.

Ate the for dinner and lunch last week. Overall, the food was very good and the homemade fries were awesome. Only downside is the price, it's a bit on the expensive side....but I wouldn't imagine their food cost is on the high side being all fresh and not frozen. Definitely would go back, fish tacos are awesome!

Have been here a number of times. I think the sushi menu is great and consistent taste and freshness. I have never been disappointed. The regular menu and specials are also very good so I have a hard time deciding between the sushi menu and the fish tacos, or fish sandwiches. I have never been disappointed here. The setting is... You go up to the counter and place your order from a number of menu boards listing daily fare as well as specials, then choose a table scattered about the large open, unadorned area and wait for your name to be called. The food was ready in a short time and you then take it to your table and feast.... More

This place is amazing. To have that fresh of fish in Idaho is awesome. I've tried almost everything and haven't been disappointed yet. It reminds me of food you get sitting next to the ocean that they just caught from the ocean. Sushi menu is awesome and tastes amazing. Make sure everyone orders a different sauce so you can try... Visited here with a friend. Food was great. Counter service efficient. Decor a bit bare, but some cool art.

We stopped here for dinner and we're delighted with the fresh offerings. You can also buy fresh and smoked fish to take home and cook yourself. It offered a sushi bar but the chefs weren't Japanese so we didn't partake. The kids menu provided smaller plates but with some good options. My husband had catfish and fries, I had fish... More

Lunch today was delicious but the service was slow. The clam chowder was full of clams. & very tasty! The fishwich was sockeye salmon. The piece of fish was large & it had a very tasty tomato on it. I will definetly eat here again. The sushi bar was doing a big business & it looked really good so I'll... More

The food is always good and the fresh seafood is the best you can find in the area. Try some of the smoked fish....The steel head is wonderful and I like to have some on hand with cheese and crackers for drop in guests. Bob and Jennifer are the owners and much of their family is employed there. They are... More
