Had a great supper. Just sad we were too full to have dessert! Apparently the creme brulee is to die for. Next time for sure. We had steamed clams as an appy. I had the spinach lasagna and my partner had penne al positano. Both meals were exellent and big portions. The staff excellent and the herb delicious. I would... More

This is a small hidden spot with amazing food, great service and excellent wine selection. This is a great intimate hole in the wall that I highly recommend! Angelo is charming and his food is mostly from scratch and organic. This is a must try if you like Italian food.

The food was very good, uniquely prepared, and we enjoyed the meal tremendously. I did not care for their bread, almost like a cornbread texture, but that is probably only my personal preference. Had crab and shrimp patties for appetizer, and it was quite tasty, Lobster raviolli and Shrimp and Scallop Bucatini were both a pleasure to dine on. Service... More

I've always lived closer to the ocean than Idaho so maybe I was expecting fresher ingredients, but the del mare had overcooked scallops, tough, overcooked shrimp and the clams were bad tasting. The garlic/wine sauce was good, but you can't use it to hide the fact that you can't cook fish. The ceasar salad was very good, however the meal... More

While Coeur d'Alene may be a summer destination for some, if you love great Italian food, then Angelo's is an anytime destination in the lakeside city. The Spaghetti Vongole is among the best we've tried. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, salads were fresh tasting and dessert is a don't miss. Even the bread has a special... More

Eating at a restaurant on New Year's Eve can be a crap-shoot. But we had an amazing experience on New Year's at Angelo's. Wonderful food, good wine and a romantic atmosphere.

Our initial impression was weak. We walked in and waited behind another guest to check in, after that guest was done, we approached the hostess to check in for our reservation. She did not acknowledge us for about a minute. When she did acknowledge us, we gave her our reservation information and she said nothing, but grabbed a couple of... More

Been here a few times and the food is always great. Worth the higher(won't break the bank) price. Great service. Not too busy.

Last July my wife and I were visiting Coeur 'd Alene and found the web site for this ristorante on the web site for the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. It doesn't look like much from the street, but once you step past the fence out front, you enter Little Italy. The décor is a tribute to the traditional... More

Loved the food and service. The $55 dinner special had very good choices for food and wine. The restaurant seating is somewhat limited so call for reservations.
