Busy Pub

Visited Sunday afternoon, usual wait of around 10 minutes for a table. Wasn't that impressed with the food, waitress had to come back twice with things she had forgot! Nice atmosphere

Went for Sunday lunch as our local has just closed. We have eaten here before, so we weren't expecting too much. However, I was not expecting the most disgusting plate of food I've ever had. Frozen Yorkshires were like cardboard, except cardboard would have been tastier. Veg was either totally over done or almost raw. Didn't bother with the wallpaper... More

Visited on Sunday 22nd November for a family meal, the pub was busy but we were served almost straight away, the carvery was hot with a great choice of vegetables and we were amazed at the cake selection!! Will be coming back soon and booking for the xmas menu!

We always go here when we visit our daughter. It's right near to junction 32 and right next to the motor way. The foods great and lots of choice and the staff are lovely and helpful too. I would reccommend it to everyone. If you want to spend an hour here or five that's great. Lovely tasty food. Well done... More

My husband and I have just had a three course (Golden Years) lunch for under £7.00 each, with several choices of starters, mains and desserts. From entering the pub/restaurant we were made feel very welcome by everyone. I just cannot believe that anyone could complain about the food and service (CAIRNSKI, 21st February 2015). The service is outstanding, and the... More
