Disappointing

I have eaten here on several occasions but when I visited this week I was quite disappointed. I always used to enjoy the classic burger which used to come with fried onions as a choice. Now, although the price of the meal has gone up, they no longer serve it with onions. I asked to have onions... read more

My husband and I have just had a three course (Golden Years) lunch for under £7.00 each, with several choices of starters, mains and desserts. From entering the pub/restaurant we were made feel very welcome by everyone. I just cannot believe that anyone could complain about the food and service (CAIRNSKI, 21st February 2015). The service is outstanding, and the... More

This was our fifth visit here and will be going back again. Lovely service, helpful staff. Food is gorgeous! And puddings amazing . Great play area for the kids. After reading negative reviews I'm confused if they was talking about the same place. Never had a bad experience here!

Not too highly priced and really enjoyed the starter and the main meal :) washed down with a diet coke saves doing the dishes at home too. I had a chicken tikka with 50/50 rice and chips all really nice and the chicken was really well cooked. Managed to drag myself out without a cake regretting that now

Staff not over friendly, not a major problem though being ignored whilst they discus what they will be wearing for their night out... More

We have been twice to this restaurant in the last couple of weeks. First time was on a Saturday night. It was very busy and we had to wait around 20 min for a table. This said straight away that the food was good. We chose to eat from the menu. Ordering the mixed grill and a burger. Both arrived... More

Used to be a regular when it first opened. Fantastic food, with amazing cakes..HOWEVER, just lately the last 3/4 visits have been very dissapointing. Twice I have visited now and been ill afterwards both times. First time I thought it could of been something else, second time definately the food. Visited today and ordered the small carvery at £4.65 as this is enough for us. The meat was very nice and what a selection of vegetables all hot and tasty. The restaurant is decorated for Christmas and looks festive. The staff were friendly and cleared away our plates promptly. I had forgotten my scarf and the staff had put it... More
