I've been to Orphan Annie's several times for both work lunches and with the family. The atmosphere is great, the staff is always really nice, and the food is fantastic. My favorites are the Mandarin Chicken and the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with the pickled cucumbers on the side.... always tastes fresh and is cooked right. They are closed on Sunday's... More

We felt like we were Caldwell residents after having dinner at Orphan Annie's. The owners and their regular customers made us feel at home. We felt like they all were our neighbors. And, oh, by the way, the food was excellent! Our finicky son loved his Mandarin Chicken.

my wife and I love going to this restaurant/bar. It is a local legend with upscale food and ambiance. It is a sports type place, but is still above par for food. Check out their Korean beef. They also make their own Kimchee and other nice surprises. When we are trying to think of a place to go in the... More

This restaurant is the best restaurant around. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I family friendly restaurant with a bar that serves Asian cuisine and American. We eat here at least once a month. My favorite thing on the menu is the mandarin chicken with a side on onion rings. I know onion rings with Chinese food? Trust me it... More

I usually get to Orphan Annie's about once a month even though we live about 35 miles away. I am Japanese-American so I love Japanese food, and yes this place reminds me of the old East Side Café in Ontario, OR. They even have some of the same original waitresses from the East Side. I always order family style and... More

We will start with the ambiance, casual yet refined, I instantly relaxed and felt like I was walking into someone's home when we entered. The service was top notch, very friendly and helpful. The food......I wanted to gorge myself it was so good!!! The best Mandarin Chicken I have had in 20 years!!! Ignore the nay sayers above they have... More

Our hotel's front desk recommended Orphan Annie's. After a long trip, we thought it sounded like the perfect place for a good meal and to unwind. The atmosphere seemed promising and quirky and it was full of patrons -a good sign, we thought. We ordered a few beers (and the one plus was that they served Tsingtao) and I ordered... More

A great place to gather for very tasty Chowmein, great fried rice, very tasty sweet and sour pork, and to watch a game on the large television. Great selection of beers, very friendly and attentive wait staff.. The owner-operators are from the long, gone Eastside Cafe of Ontario Oregon. It was a great place to gather, share a meal, see... Orphan's is a great place in Caldwell, they have a full bar, outside seating on the deck, and overall the aesthetics are pleasing. Prices are on the higher end for the area but the food is also better than most places in Caldwell. Try the Asian dishes for something different but really all the food is done very well. Service... The positive reviews are fake, most likely from the owner. I really don't know where to start but everything we ate was very low in quality and taste. The capper to this experience was an "Asian cuisine" establishment cannot serve a decent serving of rice, it was a congealed mess. We rely on trip advisor to help with our choice... More
