Tony's really does have one of the better pizzas in Boise. However, the 13 inch standard pies are not cheap. Even a very simple small house salad is $5. I only dine at Tony's on occasion because the service is just not good. Tony would do his establishment a huge favor by hiring accommodating, polite, and competent servers. I still... More

Tony's is a family restaurant located in a small space in the historic Egyptian theatre building in downtown Boise. Each menu item is handmade by the owner, Tony. You will not believe how delicious and luscious his pizzas and calzones are until your first bite...then "WOW!" is all you can say, followed by gentle murmurings of delight all the way... More

A great choice as our first stop in Boise on the night we arrived for a week's visit. By the time we left Boise, we counted dinner at Tony's as the best of the week for food excellence from start to finish. As for ambiance, my Brooklyn born and raised, Italian American husband's comment "I'm home!" from the moment we... More

Small place with Tony in the Kitchen making everything. Pizzas are quite good. Not the bubbly crisp on the edge Neapolitans from Italy. Its a slightly Americanized version (dozens of steps above the other Pizza joints around the corner from it) The crusts are crispy, the sauce is delicious and the toppings don't overwhelm the pizza. The calzone are delicious,... More

Read this review as others don't understand In Europe many places are small and very personable. Tony is in the kitchen to say hello. The wait staff are wonderful and always ready to refill a glass. The pizza and calazone are made with high quality meats and cheeses. The sausage and pepperoni are not cheap stuff. If you are looking... More

We visited Tony’s Pizzeria Teatro looking for something different and Italian. The pizza was good, but not terrific or note worthy. The service was okay, the staff spent more time talking with regulars, which the very small place seemed full of, good for them but not very invited to someone new to the experience. We will not go again, it... More

Best pizza in Boise! Thin crust, inventive, fresh, delectable toppings featuring San Marzano tomatoes, house made sausage ... prosciutto ... an authentic quattro stagioni, and my favorite, an arugula and Gorgonzola combination. Try the New Yorker -- for meat lovers -- and sit back in this intimate space and enjoy watching Tony create your pizza personally. A select few but... More

Have eaten there twice. Pizza was good, the first time I thought they were a little stingy on ingredients the second time had the calzone, they were huge and very tasty.

We came on a night there was a show next door so the tiny sliver of a restaurant was jam packed. We ordered antipasto plates and a pizza. The antipasto was good. The pizza never came, the frazzled waitress apologized and refunded the pizza so we could leave.
