we decided to have a pizza for our last night in Boise, we ordered some drinks a pizza and a salad . served rather quickly and pizza was cooked fresh with an expectional thin crust. however the pizza cook did not want to be there and even a small request to have an egg on the pizza was refused saying... Stopped in on a Monday night around 7:00PM after arriving in Boise. I was the only customer in the restaurant. Waitress was very pleasant. Ordered the Margarita Pizza. Simply enough. She delivered the pizza and a bit of insight into what I was about to experience. She said she was excited that I had ordered the pizza because she "got... More

We landed in Boise and got to our hotel by 9pm. With a famished 6 year old we hunted for food on 8th and W. Front street. We about to settle for burgers when we noticed Proto's. We order the Low Rider (a gourmet version of a hawaiian pizza). We couldn't stop eating it even though it was late. One... More

We are honey consuming vegans, so be advised-the pizza crust has honey in it. That said...We ordered some puffed up pizza dough sans cheese and a pizza with olive oil, basil, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts. It was seriously the best pizza I have ever had...Yes it bloes away anything in NYC and Chicago. A must try!

It's not that easy to find good thin crust pizza. Although this is not the best in Boise IMHO (Tony's Pizzeria is), this was surprisingly good. Went here recently for dinner and then again for lunch to try a couple offerings. They have a nice lunch special. The location in BoDo is nothing special but is convenient to downtown, theaters,... I really like the very thin-crusted pizza here. The red sauce it very tasty. Salads are also good. I thought the house dressing on my salad was garlicky tangy in just the right mix. However, I have to know this from a 4 to 3 star because of the service. There was no one in the place, yet the server... More

Had the low rider pizza and shared a salad. Very good, better value than flying pie, more relaxed than flatbread. Loved the thin crust! It was pretty loud inside, the patio would have been nice but it was too hot! Will return to try happy hour sometime.

I was excited to see a napoletana pizza place close to our hotel so I got a few pies to share with friends. I guess I expected better toppings - not shredded mozzarella on the margherita. Their Low Rider pie was pretty good - it's a great combination of flavors. I just wish it was more filling. I agree with... More

The pizza is fresh if a little skimpy on the toppings. It's a flat crust and you don't want the sauce and toppings to be too overpowering, but we ordered a small pizza for each of us and even splitting a large salad along with we were still hungry. So I'd recommend going for the medium size and leave the... More
