This is a great date night place

When in Boise to shop or to have the cars serviced, a lunch at Café Vicino is must for us! The location is at the edge of a neighborhood...close to the Boise Coop. Great food and wonderful service is the norm here! On our last visit here, I was finally able wean myself off the Café Vicino BLT and try... More

We had a party of six on a slow night. The restaurant is nicely decorated ( don't worry about the strip mall entrance) . There is a nice variety of menu items and the service was good. The dishes are attractively presented. But no one was "wowed" by the experience, which is what we always hope for, especially at higher... More

My wife and I really enjoy this place. Located just outside of downtown Boise it doesn't get the publicity some of the other restaurants do. For my money it's one of the top three or four find dining restaurants in the area.

Ashley our server was fantastic! Her wine recommendation was perfect. The fig appetizer and potato, mushroom and crab soup were fantastic! I also chose the duck pasta but it was just okay... I wish it had a cream sauce instead of broth.

Four of us had dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. I live in San Francisco and was pleasantly surprised to have such a fabulous meal in Boise. The food was unique blends of flavors, we had wonderful service, nice atmosphere inside. Portion sizes were spot on, and presentation of each plate was divine. The four of us order a lot... More

Died and gone to heaven. Whenever I/we go to Boise, Café Vicino is on our to do list whether lunch or dinner. Is a funky location with a traffic infested outdoor dining area, but with a James Beard Northwest finalist, it's about the food. Service is excellent and prices comparable to Ketchum mid range dining establishments. We've always been seated... More

Cafe Vicino consistently turns out good food. Chef Richard brings his considerable ability and reputation to the menu and the delivery of excellent taste and service for lunch and dinner. Year round, Boiseans count on this, so you'd better make a reservation. There is limited seating and it's cozy, not really elegant. Ample parking at the Co-op parking lot doesn't... More

We have had dinner at this restaurant twice and each time it was very good. Both times we had salmon and the halibut, which was cooked perfectly. The flatbread appetizer is delicious as well.

My wife and I recently had dinner with a friend at Cafe Vicino. We were not disappointed by Chef Richard Langston's award winning restaurant. My wife and friend both had the chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto with polenta. The chicken was moist and extremely flavorable. She gave me a bite, it was one of the best I've ever tasted! I...
