My wife and I were pleased with our first visit to this restaurant. The food was good, the service was great, and the prices were reasonable. She had buttered chicken and I had a vegetarian dish. I asked for the server's recommendation, which is often an invitation to the most expensive item on the menu. He recommended the spinach dish,... More

Food is very good and personal service is even better. My family loves naan, chicken and lamb dishes. We love going there.

A dependable if unspectacular Indian buffet. Average food that is extremely mild (too mild for my taste) in terms of spice. Service is outstanding.

Having had a lot of good and great Indian food in my life, I was very disappointed with the lunch buffet at this highly rated restaurant in downtown Boise. They had several somewhat below average dishes--primarily due to being somewhat bland compared to so many places I've dined at before...the masala dish and the biriyani were in this category. But... From the minute we entered (late), we were treated like royalty. The owner/chef was very helpful and accommodating when helping us decide what to order. The recipes were typical North Indian and very good. Portions are large, so I recommend sharing "family style". It appeared to be a family run business and they all made an effort to show they... I go here a couple times a month for lunch, because their lunch buffet is such a great deal and is always tasty. If you really want to get something delicious you need to venture away from that buffet and order off of the menu though. They make the buffet for Americans, no standouts or excellent spice flavors/complexity I associate... More

took my two sons for lunch- had the buffet. hot Naan, Lamb Vindaloo, Mango Chicken, Chicken Tikka...all of it tasty. The boys liked it the Rice Pudding at the end. Owner helpful in pointing out dishes, especially seemed to encourage vegans, and the primarily college kids eating there. Surprisingly no drink menu offered, since I had the sons figured might... A group of friends and I visited over the weekend on a whim and were really impressed with the lunch buffet. There were several options to please a variety of dietary considerations (2 people in our group are vegetarian) and everyone was impressed with everything that they had. The Chai tea was a perfect addition, especially on this rainy afternoon!... More

The five of us ate at the Bombay Grill and it was GOOD! Spouse ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (spicy) - very good! I ordered the Lamb Shahi Korma - very good. Likewise the Butter Chicken and Chicken Kashmiri were good. We ordered three different Naans (regular, garlic and Kashmiri) - very good. The service was attentive...never overbearing. Prices are...
