The food is very good here. We love fondue and it really is good. Try the mojo flavor for your entree. It is very good. Only complaint is that it does take awhile for the whole dining experience.

We went with a gift certificate as 1st timers. We loved the vibe, and ordered our food- the problem started when it came. In a small corner table for 2 we kept trying to move things so we wouldn't knock things over. Not pleasant. The burner takes up 1/3 of the table. Ours you could only access from one side.... More

The cheese fondue was delicious! This is a great restaurant to have an intimate date or group date. Full bar and multi-course meals.

The melting pot is a wonderful change of pace for dining out, whether you are in the mood for a multi course meal or just dessert, it fits the bill. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. It's not a place to go if you are in a hurry but is magnificent for a leisurely evening of dining and conversation.

Quite expensive to go out and cook your own food! The power went off to the building for about 1 hour, we persevered and waited the oils and stock cooled down. trying it to dip meats into luke warm oil wasn't a good experience. Could of gone elsewhere and paid less and the food would have been cooked for us.... More

Terrible food, The environment is not enjoyable. The whole fondue thing is neither tasty nor fun. The place is ridiculously expensive for what you get. Really, go somewhere worthwhile

Typical fondue fare, but nice for a romantic dinner. Expect to spend some time and some cash for the experience, but always satisfied with what we get.

Melting pot is located in a beautiful, romantic, downtown setting. Unfortunately the food doesn't match. Perhaps if you're fixated on your date you won't notice but if you have any sense of food you will be disappointed. It's very expensive and the offerings aren't impressive. A stack of cheap bread, antipasto and berries are proffered with your own little in-table... More

We took our two grandchildren here on a recent trip to Boise. They were both having birthdays, one was turning 14, and one 11 so we decided to celebrate here. It was a great experience for both of them and they thoroughly enjoyed the cheese fondues we ordered. The staff was great and even placed candles I brought in a... More
