Favorite sushi in Boise. Worth the money. Agadashi tofu & bumblebee roll are our usual picks. The service is much better than it used to be. Both in quality & speed.

We have been going to Happy Fish for many years and have yet to be disappointed. Not only is their sushi great but their martinis are delish too. It's a perfect place for a dinner out with friends!

I enjoyed my sushi at Happy Fish and would love to go back. It was walking distance from my hotel and I wished I had found it sooner during my trip as I would have gone back a second time. I sat at the bar and ordered a hand roll to eat in and a specialty roll to go. I... More

I was quite surprised..., let's face it what are the chances of finding both fresh fish (absolutely vital for sushi) and a good sushi chef. The did both and very well too. I went right 5:30p, so there were no crowds. As far as service goes, it was very good too. anyone that has been too a good sushi bar... More

Very disappointing. Too expensive, we were basically ignored and stuck in a back room. The sushi was good, but not worth the price. We wont be returning. Go to Lucky Fins instead. Wonderful service, good prices, and fantastic sushi!

The guy behnd the counter was very young and not Japanese (or remotely Asian), never a good sign in a sushi place. They have a very limited selection, and their rolls are all the usual suspects. The bumblebee roll was creative, but the others I tried all tasted the same. Eel was OK, tuna was not the best quality. And... More

My favorite sushi place in boise! Small place located in BODO, connected to an awesome little Irish pub, Ha Penny. Great fish and martinis. Friendly staff. I love coming here!

The best way to truly experience what Happy Fish has to offer is to sit at the sushi bar, decline a menu, tell them what you like, and let them create you something delicious! Always an adventure, always delicious! Top the experience with some Saki bombs and get the whole place in on the action! Best night....EVER!!

Good sushi and great atmosphere. The outdoor seating is linked up with Ha'Pennys so you can order from either place as long as you are at the right colored table :) Little pricey but you pay for the location. Fun place for a group night out with lotts of Saki Bombers to go around.
