So-so burger

I had a burger and fries here and they were pretty good, but the burger was over cooked. Their beers are good as well, but not something I find too memorable.

Stopped by today for lunch...had fish and chips and ICE COLD beer...Hefeweizen my favorite...Fish was cooked just right...chips were not to my liking...I like very crispy..but that is a personal thing...coleslaw was creamy but a little bland so I squeezed a little lemon on it ...then I really enjoyed it...service was good...attentive but not overwhelming...overall a good lunch...would come back... Stayed down road in business and came here 3 times during week for location. Twice ate in bar which had great layout of TVs for sports. Menu offered lots of normal type bar/meal. Sizes were average as was food. Servers were very friendly but seemed very under staffed so we waited a lot. When they were there they were very... More

Started with an appetizer of crab & asparagus dip, which was excellent. The crostini was just perfectly crisp. My companion had a french dip sandwich which was very good. I chose the mahi tacos. the tacos were bland, but with the addition of sales they were great. Don't expect a real seaside mahi taco though, you are in Boise after... More

A business lunch made a sudden change, and I needed reservations for 12. They were able to set it up within 10 minutes! The atmosphere is a cross between a sports bar and a pub - really fun overall. the waiter missed one item, but was cordial about the change. The food was quite good. I forgot to order salad... More

My father and I popped into the Ram off the greenbelt today and found that we weren't overly impressed. While the restaurant got incredibly busy during our visit...we endured a waitstaff that was most certainly trained to get us out the door asap. While I understand that they need tables...never rush customers. My side salad came at the same time... More

Typical northwest brew pub/sports bar that serves average in-house made beers and average food. The fried pickles were a blob of pickles with way more breading than pickle. The burger was so juicy the bun just fell apart. Had to eat it with a fork. It had good flavor, was just a mess to eat. The waitress at the bar... More

Kelcy and her team at the Ram brew pub and restaurant near downtown Boise, just off the Boise River, are not just serving great food & brew...they're providing incredible team-centered service to their guests, making for a very pleasant dining experience. I was dining alone and no less than 5 different servers, including Kelcy herself (part of the management team... More

Had a meal here well waiting for the footnball game to finish so that we could collect my grandson. Main course was reasonable althougth the steak was a bit 'chewy' and cold. The Bread Pudding - it was about 8 ins high with an 8 ins diameter and covered in treacle!! It was delicous and I had to take most... More
