Sitting outside on their patio is great. In the great downtown Boise. The menu is full of new and interesting dishes. Or still get your hamburger. Their Sunday brunch is my favorite.

I've been twice. food is inedible. I don't know what others are talking about when they rave about the food. it's a place full of drunks. and apparently drunks love grease and gristle
After touring the capital in Boise we wanted to find a restaurant that had something different and delicious. Bardenay filled the bill for our 3 p.m. meal. The outdoor seating was comfortable and shaded enough to mitigate the 80 degree weather. Our server, John, was friendly, helpful, and kept things taken care of throughout our meal.
I ordered the Charbroiled...

We have been here for lunch a few times when passing through Boise, and they always seem to do it up right for you. This time however, we went for dinner, and that was a big mistake. Not only was the place so crowded and noisy that we had to yell at each other, but we were unlucky enough to...

On our way through Boise to paddle the Grand Canyon we stopped at Idaho River Sports and this restaurant was recommended to us for dinner. It was a gorgeous day and we sat on the patio. I had the best Mojita I have ever had and at that point I knew we were in for a memorable meal. It was!...

We walk down the Greenbelt to Bardenays. Great outdoor seating, friendly staff and great food. We go there many times a year! The patio area is the best with kids.
Loved this place! The location is perfect in the "Basque" area of Boise, with neat shops and sights all around. I ordered the steak pita with the greyhound drink and it was delicious and flavorful. Husband went into a pleasure coma over the salmon fillet sandwich with carmelized onions and the gin martini. Price was reasonable, servings large, waitress attentive,...

Went for Mother's Day dinner. Was surprisingly vacant inside but patio was full. Food was good but not great. Service was fairly good but our server forgot a few items and could have been more cheery considering between our two families we spent $150 with tip. Local micro brew selection was adequate but not deep (Payette & Sockeye but only...

This old distillery makes most of it's own spirits. The menu, food quality and value made me return 3 times to this restaurant. It can be crowded and it's across from the Basque museum and center. Check it out when in Boise...
I went to Bardenay one evening on a weekday. The food was average American style with an okay drink selection. I title my review "don't be fooled" because it was nothing more than average. If you go expecting something special because they are a distillery you will be disappointed. I would go as far as to say that promoting themselves...
