Went back for lunch today with some friends and it was a far better experience. Billy the owner is hands on and a great guy and the staff were much better :) We had the buffet, it was pretty good but not amazing as my friend had said, still for 10 bucks it was a nice change. Now the duck... More

I love the atmosphere and service at this downtown Boise restaurant. The decor creates a feeling of serenity and sheer draping from ceiling to top of booth provides some privacy. This was my second visit to Mai Thai and both times the service was exceptional. The lunch buffet is inexpensive (around $10) but the selection during this visit was mostly... More

My wife and I have had dinner at Mai Thai many times over the years and we've never been disappointed by the food, service, and value. Today we tried the Mai Thai buffet and it was everything we have experienced in the past, and better! Great value, great food, and wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Mai Thai to friends... More

This basically Thai restaurant provides excellent Thai food and then goes beyond to offer other asian specialities. The Bento Boxes are great items with several creative combinations. Great for lunch or dinner. More

The place captures the spice and complexity of Thai food, with a bit of fusion flair. My wife and I both love the curries, and the coconut soup. It always tastes fresh and delicious to eat here. More

I've been here a few times. I really enjoy the decorations and nice atmosphere. The first time I went, waiter and hostess were very polite. The second time, we were seated immediately and forgotten about. 15mins later I walked out. Ordered a few dishes... I make better Thai food and I'm a 24 yr old LA native. How strange is... More

Even though it's usually crowded, it has a dimmed & more romantic atmosphere than most restaurants in the area. Very Buddha-esque with classy décor. Their Thai food is similar to Sawadee with a large & expansive menu to suite nearly everyone's taste buds. Don't get stuck waiting though! The staff closes shop around 2:30pm and don't open until 5pm for... More

We had drunken noodles, which was greasy and just OK, and a yellow curry. Both meals were passable, but at $12 per person, overpriced for what they were. We asked for the spiciest level, and it was barely hot, so we ended up adding a lot of chili flakes. The waitstaff was very tacky, and we had 3 different people... More

On Business travelin Boise I was liking for a tasty meal that was also casual with a comfortable atmosphere. Sat in the bar as you enter ans the service was very good. Great appetizers on happy hour price all evening. Specialty drink was tasty and fresh. Thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. More

I flew into Boise for some business and when I landed went straight to Mai Thai for lunch because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. Got to the place kind of late for lunch (2:25pm) as it closes at 2:30pm for lunch. They had a Buffet for $9.99 and was not sure I should even try it as I thought it... More
