Yep. It gets a little cozy inside. Especially when it gets crowded. But frankly, that should tell you how good the food is at this great spot. And yes! There can be a wait, but once again, if several groups are willing to wait outside in cold weather - it's a pretty clear sign of things. I wish we could... More

Loved the cozy cafe feel. Customer service was great. I liked that you could help yourself to coffee outdoors while you waited for a table. We went at 9 am and only waited 5 mins. Pancakes were the size of your head. Salmon benedict had cucumbers and dill- fantastic. Portions are large so it's great you can order a half... More

I wish TripAdvisor had a better rating system. Goldy's is better than Average, but I wouldn't say it's Very Good. I had the Egg Benedict and had no complaints. I'd say they were better than Average, Good, but not Very Good. Good portion size. Coffee is a good, smooth breakfast blend....not the typical over-roasted coffee typical to the NW, and... More

We went during morning rush and waited about 15 minutes for a table, strolling the surrounding historic area (Egyptian Theater across the street). Great breakfast options and drinks. Cool atmosphere. And lovely historic building (check out historic display in lobby to the north).

My 18 year old son and I were visiting Boise for a Niece's wedding on Friday August 8. We stayed at the Grove Hotel, a block from Goldy's. We did not have much time as were were headed out of town on August 9. So I had coffee, orange Juice, and a fruit cup. The fruit cup was overflowing and... More

We heard from a parking attendant of the place locals go to for complete menu for breakfast. Goldie's had coffee and all the fixings on a table outside the restaurant door if one had to wait to be seated. Delicious coffee also I may add!! Eggs benedict, pancakes and a tomato thing with an egg on top with sausage--items both... More

Definitely one of the best breakfasts I've had. Goldy's is a small, downtown restaurant, but the wait is definitely worth it. Portion sizes are very large. I think you could easily split one of the burrito options. I had a traditional bacon and egg breakfast, and Goldy's made it very special. The sourdough toast was delicious. If you are in... More

This was one of the best breakfasts that my wife and I have eaten in a long time. The restaurant is crowded and has a waiting list, but it is worth it. While I am not a fan of overly large portions, which the restaurant provides, the quality of the food was outstanding. I strongly recommending going here. Unfortunately, we... More
