I understand this is THE place to go for breakfast, so I went. It has a great vibe, good looking people, trendy, the food is not bad, but way overpriced in my opinion.

You really need to check out Goldy's hole in the wall restaurant. Really the best of Boise for not only breakfast, but a great lunch as well. Service and food is the best anywhere

We met our good friends for breakfast after a great football game the night before and were very pleased with the salmon omelettes we ordered. The fish was very fresh, the sides were perfect, and the service was great. Definitely will return again.

Goldy's is absolutely the best breakfast in Boise. Their pancakes are unbelievably delicious! All the entries are very generous (enough to feed my 6'3" husband) and we are always impressed with the quality of the ingredients. You will definitely have at least a 30 minute wait but it is definitely worth it!

Goldy's gets rave reviews and they're absolutely deserved. Consistently the best breakfast in Boise. Great cafe ambiance, worth the wait every time. If you get there at a popular time, dress appropriately for the weather. You're going to be waiting outside. Relax, grab a free cup of coffee, and enjoy the sensation of anticipation.

If there is a legend in Boise eateries, I think Goldy's is it. Everywhere i went folks said I had to try it...but to expect to wait. Well, I thought instead of waiting, I will get up early and be there when the open (7:30 in Nov 2014). So it was worth getting up for and I did it again... More

Anyone who thinks the food at Goldy's is no better than the "place down the street" has no discerning palate. This is the ONLY place I've found in my small travels around North America that can prepare a basted egg properly. If you're used to eating garbage; go "down the street", the food at Goldy's is exquisitely prepared. The service... More

Great breakfast with great portions. Some really nice specialty items on the menu. We ate two mornings in a row and would have made a triple of it if staying in Boise another day. Careful getting a table to close to the door on a cold day.

Don’t eat here. It is awful. You will hate it! (Ok, did I discourage anyone so the wait will be shorter ?). Arrived on a Saturday about 12:45, restaurant closes at 2PM. No problem getting us in … waited about 45 minutes, did not feel rushed to leave. They offered to call us on our cell phone while we walked... More
