Everything was wonderful!

We visited on a Thursday morning around 10AM. There was a short wait (maybe 15-20 min) for a table for 4 adults and 1 toddler. The menu has a lot of variety, which is nice for bigger groups. Two of us had breakfast and two had lunch sandwiches. Everything was superb! My blueberry pancake was... read more

Goldy's is an institution in the Boise downtown scene. Yes, there usually a wait, especially if you come later in the morning, but that's because everyone wants to eat there. The wait is totally manageable, anyway. You give them your cell number and they call you when your table is ready. So you can check out the surrounding blocks or... More

Goldy's is a one of a kind breakfast experience. The menu is varied and complete with such innovative selections as cinnamon roll French toast. The atmosphere is warm and homey with terrific servers and endless coffee refills. It's eclectic and popular so if you want to be served quickly, arrive before it opens and get in line. It's worth the... More

Went one time to this place. Had a 30 minute wait to get in. We thought with long a wait and the number of people trying to get in the food would be great, but it wasn't any better then a Denny's or Ihop I ordered eggs with hashbrowns and sausage. The eggs and hashbrowns were ok but now can... More

Sometimes I forget about going to Goldy's because I don't always have time to wait for a table, and believe me....there's always a wait. My most recent visit was no different, we waited for f10 minutes then had an incredible breakfast. Omelets are always excellent and the benny's are awesome. Fruit -- so fresh and beautifully presented. Lattes are yummy.

We had an excellent breakfast here. We went on a Monday and still had a 30 min wait, but it was worth it. Very good.

We have been going to Goldy's for years. We always love it. However, the last time we were there, the owner or manager wasn't there. (she is always there). The poached eggs weren't poached to our desires and everything just seemed kind of off. Normally I would give Goldy's an excellent rating but I just can't because of our last... More

great spot for breakfast! it was crowded for a weekday, but we were seated pretty quickly. food was good, and lots to choose from. family friendly, but lots of business folks there as well. Best breakfast ever? No, but pretty darn good.

Goldy's is great, but you should definitely expect to wait unless you arrive early on a weekday! The locals go to the shop next door and have a mimosa while they wait!

Stopped here on the way out of town because of the other tripadvisor reviews and I was not disappointed. The scone I had was the best one I had since living in Australia. My kids gobbled up there breakfast and we got some snacks for the road. They have very good coffee as well. It is counter service like most... More
