The Piper Pub & Grill offers a myriad of choices for appetizers, burgers and sandwiches as well as a large selection of beverages, ranging from iced tea to beers and cocktails. I ordered a mock mojito with no issue. My colleagues and I ordered a variety of entrees ranging from fish & chip to chicken wraps to deluxe burgers. Something... More

An absolute gem of a find. Great beer selection and the food portions are large enough to share. The wait staff was very helpful and the food was fresh. A definite repeat when in Boise. We had a large group of 10 and they accomidated as if we were a party of four.

Three of us each had something different. The salads were fresh and crisp, the main course was excellent and the service was great from Stephanie G. We had after dinner drinks on the balcony and it was a great place for people watching

When the bar menu is as big as the food menu..that makes me happy. The food was very good. The wait staff were courteous and we got our food quickly. We had eaten lunch but came back that night for drinks and there are a LOT of choices in BODO. Try one of the "Scotch flights" . They give you... More

We had some combo appetizers and beer. The food was good, the quantity was excellent compared with the price. Also the beer was ok. The local is modern, with a beatiful view on Boise downtown. Waitresses were really cute. i'd say that for a quick stop the restaurant is ok

6 of us each had different meals and only one was "happy" about the fare. The wings were dry...think Holiday Vacation turkey dry. The sandwich was soggy and the soup was cold. Really? Is authentic pub fare this bad?

For beer this place is probably pretty decent. For food they are attempting to do pub classics. I had shepherds pie (which to give them credit was at least lamb, instead of beef, which is a common mistake) but they do it by assembling the individual ingredients adding them to a bowl and putting mash on top with some cheese... On a recent trip while walking through downtown Boise we decided to try this place for lunch. Getting to the restaurant was challenging. It is on the second floor so you either had to go past it and up an escalator only to walk around to find the entrance or you could walk past it the other way and go... More

I wanted something simple - soup and sandwich or salad and sandwich. I ordered the hand carved roast turkey with bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce on grilled sourdough with a house salad. The flavors were good, but didn't seem to be much different than what I could do at home. Good plating would have gone a long way, but the presentation... More

My wife loves places where they have patios. Piper Pub is on the second floor and has a wrap around balcony from where one can people watch. Inside the bar has a great drink and beer selection, especially if you enjoy Scotch. The food is very good and they have a great happy hour and entertainment.
