You can tell their food is prepared fresh. My wife and I love to eat here if we are craving for Indian food. I love their Biryani and curry. Would have been 5 stars if the wait time can be shortened.

We visited for lunch based on some positive responses. It was s disappointment from both cost and value standpoints. Tandoori platter for 25 bucks brings you a little bit of over fried chicken and a 3 inch long meat kabob. I would not pay $5 for this quality food. Vegetable korma had a lot sauce and very few vegetables. I... More

My daughter and I had a great meal at the Taj Mahal. We had appetizers, a shrimp dish, rogan josh, and rice pudding for dessert. The beer selection is exceptional, featuring a number of beers I had never heard of. The onion naan was freshly made, soft, warm and fragrant. We will go back next time we visit Boise.

Ate here while in Boise while on business. On a lonely evening, I trekked here from nearer the airport and had my spirits suitably raised by the friendly welcome. I had the Aloo Samosa to start, followed by chicken Madras with garlic naan - what I tend to have on my first visit to a new SE Asian restaurant and... More

Ambiance: Taj is a nice place. The room has some odd corners, but it general it's well laid out and enough rooms between tables to be reasonably private. Average furnishings, and a nice cultural corner in the back featuring something Bollywood on the screen. Staff: Very nice people, very attentive. Food & Drink: Great beer selection, though I'll admit I... More

Taj Mahal is my favorite Indian restaurant. From business meetings to family celebrations, they serve up delicious dishes. The Naan bread is to die for. And the beer selection is amazing!

My husband and I have had Indian food from coast to coast and this was our favorite! There is a huge selection on the menu of great food. Each dish is prepared for your order with fresh ingredients- which makes a huge difference in the taste and quality. There is a nice beer selection as well. Additionally, we like to... More

This was the first time I had to enjoy Indian cuisine in several years and found the Taj Mahal met my expectations. The service was terrific and I had an enjoyable conversation with the owner while I was waiting for my meal. I tried an excellent appetizer with assorted Indian breads and sauces that was too much for one person... More

New to Boise, I went with my good friend who highly recommend this as a great place for dinner. Being later in the evening, I ordered some lite fair. The homemade bread is to die for. The choice of spices and seasoning is quite impressive. The appetizers are tasty. My friend's entree was so large, I ended up eating more... More

We are travelling USA and were desperate for proper food and NOT fast food. We found what we were looking for in the Taj Mahal in Boise. Great range of Indian tastes for the discerning restaurant go-er. Waiting times were ideal - why rush a beautiful meal. Service was splendid and the host made us feel very welcome. Portions were...
