The mainstay of Downtown Boise, an icon in it's own right. The service has always been top notch and the food back's up it's renowned reputation. A special treat to sit out in the vine covered patio on a summer evening listening to great local talent. Make sure to catch the Cooper River Salmon when on the fresh list. More

My husband and I dined here on a Wednesday evening around 7pm. The dining room tables were about 3/4 occupied. The wait-staff was awesome! The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. Filet was cooked to perfection and topped with mushrooms. Served with baked potato and mixed veggies of asparagus, broccoli and carrots. Chicken Savoy was amazing in flavor! So moist and... More

Best atmosphere in town. It's elegant, romantic, dark and for the most part quiet. Excellent for a night out with a significant other or a great impression on the first date. Fabulous food. $$$ More

I sat in the bar area on a Wednesday night, it wasn't very crowded. I had the house Cabernet, which was ok. I ordered the filet mignon (med) with vegetables and a baked potatoe, and a house salad. The salad was standard and good with their house dressing. The steak was good sized (at least 10 oz) and cooked perfectly!... More

I saw another comment about them being down some stairs. This is one of the reasons I love Angell's it's got the amazing downtown location without having to be on the street level. This is especially true during the summer they have the best patio. Not to mention I have never had a disappointing experience here. Foods always good and... More

hard to find, under a major office building. You have to walk around the east end of the building on the north side then down stairs to the restaurant. Place looked like * * * * but the food was only * *. Three of us had the rib eye that was OK but not up to the price ($30ish).... More

Great food and a great dining experience. Pricy but the eclectic menu warrants the price. Wish we lived near Boise instead of Pennsylvania. More

Went with a colleague and a vendor for a dinner meeting. Sat outside and anjoyed a delicious spinach salad, steak, and conversation. Staff was friendly and attentive and the price was fair. Looking forward to another visit when I'm back in Boise. More
