If you visit one pizza joint in Boise, make it Flying Pie

Flying Pie is a unique place in Boise for pizza. The workers and servers have an add culture about them, but it makes for a fantastic evening out! If you are there on a Tuesday night for gourmet night, you are in luck! They serve their "strange and unusual pizzas" (to quote them directly) that you... read more

My whole family loves Flying Pie Pizza and visits as often as possible. The Crust is hand thrown and a heavier crust. We love the Contest Combo on sourdough which is a meat lovers pizza. The restaurant itself is a little older and run down but typical for a pizza parlor. They have a salad bar which is always well... More

Very stacked pizzas with lots of toppings. Their special pizzas are unique and good. Very filling, so don't go crazy with ordering.

I struggled with what to rate this place. I've only been a few times. The food is fine. The service is usually okay. The atmosphere can be fun. The parking lot is awful. I would like to caution that, if you see your name on the sign stating it's 'your day', be sure to check out the website and know... More

While on a road trip, we visited friends in Eagle. We got the hungries for pizza but didn't want to go out for dinner (plus we had a couple and thought it best that we weren't driving). We called Flying Pie and found out that we were outside their delivery area (we were in Eagle). Well, for a nominal extra... More

Without a doubt best in Boise. Good salad bar, beer select and soda. Interesting to watch them create your pizza and the way they "connect " with you. A fun place for you and the kids.

we have been going to the fairview store for many years. after we discovered this one we pretty much quit going to other pizzas. not very close to where we live but worth the drive. we like: - friendly and happy servers - all kinds of pizzas: stromboli, all meats, triple pie with jalapeno, just name a few - a... Amazing pizza, beer selection and garlic bread sticks. We were just expecting a regular pizza place but this place has a sense of humor and so do the servers. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We had a pizza, salad bar and i forgot the name but it was similar to a calzone. All delicious.

Recently my BF's family took me on a surprise trip to Flying Pie for the Hands-On Pizza Tour. We showed up in the early afternoon and spent a couple of hours hanging out, making pizzas, wearing funny hats, drinking beer, and touring the kitchen. The experience was great! And highly recommended for kid AND adult pizza lovers. The pizza wasn't... More
