Happy Hour at The Basque Market means relaxing with a glass of gourmet wine or indulging in our specialty, frozen Sangria Blanco! We can cater parties large or small and have a wonderful pick-up menu for when you don't feel like cooking. Cooking classes and wine tasting events are open to the public throughout the year!

First off, what a charming, adorable woman that runs this place! I really enjoyed visiting with her about Spanish cooking and ingredients as I have been known to throw some big Paella Parties myself. We went for tapas at lunch but there just never seemed to be more than a couple varieties and only1 or 2 pieces of each. We... More

We have the Pintxos Tapas on Friday night. We gave the unlimited tapas a try. The salmon and roast beef on toast excellent, we each had one. Then the choices went to deepfried. I found the choices limited and then not replaced so as we went back to try more there was even less. Fifteen dollars was a bit steep... More

Anytime we visit Boise in the summer we have to stop by in the afternoon and try the Sangrias. They make them in a freezy machine so they are slushy. Best way to spend a summer afternoon is enjoying a glass of sangria while nibbling on the Tapas offerings.

This was our first time dining at the basque market. We had a lunch that included pintxos, paella, and a Spanish red wine. The food was good and the service was exceptional. We will be sure to come back the next time we are in Boise .

We eat here every few weeks for pintxos and vino. Pintxos is the Basque word for "tapas" They have an assortment of tapas on the bar and you are charged based on the type of toothpick in the tapa. So, save them! We use the Smart City card and we get a discount on the tapas and wine, so it's... More

We visited upon the recommendation of a friend and while we had a pleasant visit, $38 for two tiny tapas, two paellas, and two small pours of sharp pedestrian Spanish wine, seemed a bit much for lunch where we ordered at the counter. I realize one oughtn't complain about the serving size of poor wine being small, but still... The... More

Best empenadas in the US. Incredible combination of market, wine shop and eatery in the Basque district. Idaho has the 2nd largest concentration of Basque outside of the Basque homeland and their love of great food and wine is clearly shown in this market. This is not only a great place to shop and eat, but also, a great place... More

No need to travel to Spain if you want traditional wines, cheeses and hams from Basque country. The Basque Market will fill your needs.

Interesting market. Did not eat there but purchased several bottles of wine after testing. Wines were excellent, from Sosin, and very reasonably priced.
